HEST IndicatorHEST Indicator

Indicates higher than normalexhaust temperatures

Illuminated when: Regenerating while parked

(manually initiated)

Automatically regenerating (inmotion) and speed falls below5 mph

Does NOT illuminate whenautomatically regenerating(in motion) and speed isabove 5 mph

Warning only - NO driver action required

Normally off

Illuminates when:

Current operating conditions do not

allow for automatic regeneration andsoot level has reached the point

where regeneration is needed

Pressing top of switch will initiate

a parked regeneration whenindicator is illuminated

DPF Inhibit IndicatorDPF Inhibit Indicator

DPF Inhibit Illuminates when: Bottom of switch is pressed

down and regeneration is

inhibited

DO NOT leave DPF inhibited for extended

periods. Regeneration will not occur and DPFwill f ill up and eventually require service.

Check and Stop Engine IndicatorsCheck and Stop Engine Indicators

Check Engine

Illuminates in conjunction with aflashing DPF Status lamp toindicate DPF is overfull.

Accompanied by limited powerderate.

Perform parked regenerationIMMEDIATELY

Stop Engine

Illuminates in conjunction with a

flashing DPF Status lamp to

indicate DPF has exceeded

maximum capacity. Accompanied by heavy power

derate.
