Machinecraft’s first machine sold to Europe in 1998 Machinecraft’s Machine at Kalix, Sweden
Established in 1976, by a Polymer Chemist from UDCT Mumbai - Mr Bhanuchandra Doshi. Machinecraft manufacturers thermoforming machines at the factory near Mumbai, India. The company is family-run by the 2 x sons of Mr. Doshi - Deepak & Rajesh from 1990 followed by addition of the 3rd generation in the family company. Machinecraft brings together quality workforce from all across India, the company has a diverse culture with people from 8 regions in India. Our company culture fosters loyalty - we have an experienced staff of about 40 people - engineers, designers, electricians, CNC machinists and fabricators. The company has been exhibiting in German exhibition K at Dusseldorf since 1998. Machinecraft sold the first machine to Europe during the 1998 K exhibition to a company in Belgium. Since the 1998 K show Machinecraft sold machines to 10+ companies in Scandianivian region through their agent ALE Formplast AB & various other countries in Europe - like the UK, Netherlands, Hungary and France. Machinecraft has 2500+ installations in the field of thermoforming in 40 countries. In March 2019, Machinecraft established partnership with company FRIMO Freilassing. With support from FRIMO, Machinecraft’s aims to expand its reach in the Europe. The company is known for it’s economic pricing & strong customer support.
In August 2018, the CEO of company Batelaan Kunststoffen B.V in the Netherlands began his search for a new thermoforming machine manufacturer - to upgrade the thermoforming machines with the latest electronics & pneumatics on his company shop floor. His search began with a simple google search for an experienced machine manufacturer in India - a country known for its low cost innovations which was also easy to communicate with.

He sent out an email, invited Machinecraft to come & meet him at the Netherlands. After 2-days of consulting, the specs of the Single Station thermoforming machine were decided as follows:

- Mr. Deepak Doshi, Commercial & Sales Director at Machinecraft - responsible for customer communication and support over the machine life-time. He also handles the commercials in sister company Indu Thermoformers which extrudes plastic sheets and does Thermoforming R&D - he has around 30 years of experience with the thermoforming technology.

For example he really prefers a thermoforming machine to have Elstein heaters, Busch pumps, Festo cylinders and Mitsubishi Servo motors. These parts are however not the main reasons that a thermoforming machine often costs +300.000 euro. It is the labour cost that goes into building a machine that makes it so expensive. That’s why he found the solution with Machinecraft, they have such a professional and automated process that they can offer high quality thermoforming machines at almost half the price.
