Ma Nishtana Slideshow By Chana Overlander

Grade Level: Early Childhood, Elementary Description: This clear and concise slideshow is used as a visual aid to help children understand the content of the Four Questions. It is presented in the order laid out by the Rambam but can be edited to suit your nusach. Note: This file does not include the complete text of the Ma Nishtana. (You must click on the ppt file to download the actual PowerPoint.) Goals/Objectives: Students will view an illustration of each Ma Nishtana question thus aiding comprehension and the ability to memorize the Four Questions. Materials Needed:

• Laptop/computer • Projector

Instructions:

1. Sing the Ma Nishtana with your students. 2. Go through each slide, having a student describe each question. 3. Practice saying the Ma Nishtana as you flip through the slides. Then see if

the class can say it without the slideshow. Additional Tips: Stress how the Ma Nishtana comes at the beginning of Maggid, and that the rest of Maggid is the answer to these four questions.
