Even after thousands of washes, a modern system should remain as on the first day it was started. Ryko Italia, with its new SUPRA system, creates once again new parameters for a quality concept.

The technical solutions SUPRA

The bearing structure, consisting of three main elements only, keeps a very high rigidity against oscillations thanks to rugged rectangular profiles. The modern laser cutting techniques used in manufacturing the SUPRA structure assure a great coupling accuracy of metal frame parts, with minimal gaps. All screws and bolts are made of stainless steel with a high hardness degree to prevent deformation of threads due to high tightening torque. The system structure is fully hot dip galvanized so that there will be no rusting even after many years: Ryko Italia warrants it for 7 years. .

The whole frame structure is treated with painting methods which meet the most stringent specifications by accomplishing low environmental icycles, thus allowing to satisfy the most wide-spread end user requestspainting cycles include grinding and washing of the galvanized partlayer of epoxy paint, a layer of polyurethane paint, and high temperature oven drying. Peel finishes with a particular resistance to UVA rays and chemicals are obtained.

A great step forward: Ryko Italia, as a result of many experiences with actual operation tests, manufactures all rotating parts of the SUPRA system with slide bearings made of techno polymer. Unlike ball bearings, “high-tech” polymers – reinforced with fibers and solid lubricant additives – can operate dry, keeping their mechanical properties plus low friction coefficient unchanged in time, and assuring a long life. The rotating shafts and bushes are made of very hard stainless steel with a high surface finish grade so that abrasion is quite negligible and will not affect proper operation.

The brushing and horizontal drying drive and support assemblies use flat and timing belts made of polyurethane; these represent a reliable alternative to chain systems by assuring a very high power transmission performance, keeping constant tensions throughout their life, and reducing maintenance costs as no lubrication is needed. The belt body is made of polyurethane with stainless steel traction cables inside which give the belt an extreme dimensional stability, such that the belt will not require any adjustments; the greater rating available has allowed to design smaller and compact power transmission and support systems, using pulleys of a smaller diameter and width. Top brush/dryer lifting device works by a gear motor with tooth belts pulleys. Each lifting (up and down) is controlled by a Variable Frequency Drive (inverter). The programming package was conceived and designed to be a powerful and flexible tool for managing the SUPRA system: it is a latest generation software, thought and developed with the particular end user requirements fully taken into account. Through a flexible parameter setting facility and a powerful information display, whoever uses SUPRA can easily program the type of washing and different washing speeds. One of its winning features is learning simplicity, together with the simplicity by which the message display allows developing every operation for managing the alarms, the number of washes performed for every program, the configuration of programs, the gantry feed speed, etc. These phases are constantly controlled by safety functions which always assure the integrity of data and prevent unauthorized operators to gain access to information.

SUPRA is equipped with a sophisticated control device capable of adjusting with extreme accuracy the brush pressure onto the car body. The brush, carried by flat belts made of polyurethane and stainless steel, rises and lowers by means of a special gear mocontrolled by V.L.D. for up and down speeds respectively. At theback of the vehicle, when the big horizontal brush has lowered completely, the gantry moves away to allow the vertical brushes tclose again. Once closed, after a few secondthe system interrupts the forward cycle.

Frestarts, reverses the rotation of brushes, and washes the vehicle again by executing the samoperations as in the forward cycle. During this phase, the wax sprayer starts. The cycle ends when the system is at bay beginning and all brushes have reached maximum position of vehicle off shape. .

Optionals SUPRA

In order to be able to better wash every kind of vehicle, the machine can be equipped with options that improve both the result and the customer satisfaction.

Device that covers the vehicle with a thick layer of three-colored shampoo. Besides being efficient in washing, it gives a stunning effect. SuperPolish Program: an extra shining effect can be achieved by using new extra shiny products and a special waxing program. Furthermore the car is protected from the atmospherical agents and from pollution for a two months period. GSM telephone connection: to be used wthe autodiagnosis system, in case the machine stops it immediately sends the manager an SMS. This way you can know in real time and wherever you are, if the equipment is having problems and therefore you can promptly intervene.

Photoeye Detection: in order to simplify the Self-Service operation, we developed a photoeye detection system, instead of the usual bay plate positioning system. The new traffic lights lets you know , in a very simple and very visible way, where the car should be correctly positioned.

Optionals

SUPRA Contouring Top high pressure: prewashing device installed on top drying with 8 blasters at angle jet. This device can follow the car silhouette changing the spraying direction in 3 different positions to wash better the front and the back side and the top of the car. Water supply with n.1 high pressure pump 5,5 kW - 70 bar - 42 lt/min. Hydrobot: automatic prewash high pressure system, which simulate as much as possible hand prewash. In the side system, water is sprayed by two nozzles, one to the left and the other to the right of the car, from wheels to glasses. These nozzles move up and down while spraying high pressure water. This system is highly effective due to the strong impact of water against the surface of the vehicle. Mobile nozzle technique allows, furthermore, a low water consumption. Each nozzle is fed by a 4 kW. ,18 l/min. 120 bar piston pump. Wheel washers integrated high pressure device: A set of two nozzles placed into the wheel washers achieving a high quality during the rim washer program thanks to the forward and reverse rotation of the brushes washing also the lower side of the car. Fed by a 5.5 kW. ,70 bar,42 l/min. pump. When Contouring Top High Pressure is installed the spump is used to feed both.

Considerations: in order to determine the least distances of the roll-over from buildings of civilian residence to be respected, supposing we’re in a free field or in the condition in which the acoustic pressure produced by a source decreases of 6 dBs to every doubling of the distance, and applying the following formula: P2 = P1 – 20Log (d2/d1) where P2 = acoustic pressure in the final point P1 = acoustic pressure at the starting point d2 = distance of the final point from the source d1 = distance of the starting point from the source In this specific case we have the acoustic pressure at 15 m and at 20 m from the roll-over equals about: program “high pressure, wash and dry”: front at a 15 m distance: 67,6 dB(A) front at a 20 m distance: 65,1 dB(A) side at 15 m distance: 66,6 dB(A) side at a 20 m distance: 64,1 dB(A) program “top dryer only”: front at a 15 m distance: 63,8 dB(A) Front at a 20 m distance: 61,3 dB(A) program “wash only”: Front at a 15 m distance: 55,0 dB(A) Front at a 20 m distance: 52,5 dB(A)

SUPRA Based on what was explained in the previous paragraphs, as well as in Chart C of the enclosed D.P.C.M. 14.11.97, the found values as Leq in dB(A) determine the possibility of insertion of the automatic roll-over “SUPRA 225”, in areas that can be included in Class IV “Areas of intense human activity” or, according to what is quoted in the same decree, urban areas characterized by high density of population and from elevated presence of commercial activity and offices, or from presence of activity handicraft, or small industries (Max immission values limit : 65 dB(As) daytime -55 dB(As) nighttime). The possibility of what is stated above has to be conditioned to a distance of respect equal to about 20 mt between a residence and the washing bays(if full enclosures are not present full enclosures or dividing walls at least 4 mt tall) or in the case of lesser distances, to the interposition of phonoabsorbent barriers. It is important to remember that the phonometric surveys quoted in the previous table have been effected in external area, with a noise leading characterized by traffic vehicular mid daytime of 64,0 dB(As) (measured at a 3 mt distance from the roll-over). The installation of the equipment in another context can condition (almost certainly in excess or in defect) the values of Leq quoted in the previous table, because of the different conditions of the site in which it is installed. A positive or negative variation of one-two dB(As can be esteemed). Besides to the goals of the use of the rollover in external areas, every user will have to abide to the maximum limits of exposure to the noise imposed from the town rule or from normative specifications of the EC State Members , according to the areas and the kind of areas quoted in the Chart Á. of the above-mentioned decree.
