The program will conclude with a discussion of the complications of coronary interventions as well as adjunctive therapies.

Pancreatic, Lung and Breast Cancers: Current Treatments and Research ProtocolsKerry A. Mahar RN, MSN, AOCNThis presentation will address pancreatic, lung and breast cancers including relevant epidemiology, current treatments and implications for nursing care. Current research protocols will be discussed.

Geriatric Nursing Challenges Across the Health Care ContinuumKathy J. Fabiszewski, PhD, A/GNP-BCThis program will provide participants with an opportu-nity to explore geriatric nursing challenges in acute care, primary care, and extended care (home care and

Hypertension in PregnancyLori Johnson RNC-HROB, BSN, MSThis program will differentiate the types of hypertension associated with pregnancy, describe the steps necessary to ensure accurate blood pressure evaluation, and describe the pathophysiology of preeclampsia-eclampsia. The management of hypertension in pregnancy will be discussed using case studies.
