Ingredients1 cup fine chopped salted peanuts½ cup butter2 cups firmly packed brown sugar1 cup light corn syrupDash of salt1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk1 teaspoon vanilla10 tart apples, washed, dried

Directions

1. Butter wax paper. Set aside.

2. Place peanuts in a bowl. Set aside.

3. Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan; add brownsugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook over medium heat,stirring occasionally for 10-12 minutes or until mix-ture comes to a full boil.

4. Add sweetened condensed milk into saucepan.Continue cooking, stirring occasionally for 20-25minutes or until small amount of mixture droppedinto ice water forms a firm ball. Remove from heatand stir in vanilla.

5. Dip apples into caramel mixture. Dip one end ofeach apple into peanuts. Place apple onto waxpaper. Let apples cool and enjoy!
