Note lack of heparanase activity following incubation of the 65 kDa precursor with medium conditioned by un-stimulated macrophages (M + pHpa), as compared to readily detectable activity upon incubation with medium conditioned by IFN-stimulated macrophages (IFN/M+pHpa).
