11/16/06Lubbock Police Search For Man Who Allegedly Tried to Kidnap aYoung BoyLubbock police are looking for a man whoallegedly tried to kidnap a 9-year-old boy. Theboy says a Hispanic man approached him inthe 1800 block of 3rd on Monday, November6th. That man allegedly tried to force theboy into his car, but the boy broke free and ranhome.Fortunately, he was not hurt but now policehave a composite sketch of the suspect andneed your help. Parents and children alike canlook at this picture to see if they recognize thesuspect.He is described as 5'7, 130 pounds with a baldor shaved head. A witness, who heard the..\Desktop\DSC00123.gifboy's story came back to this area and found aperson matching the description. That witnesschased the suspect but he got away in a 90's..\Desktop\DSC00123.JPGstyle sedan, similar to a Chevy Lumina.
