History
1931 – Orlando Transit Company founded
1971 – Orlando Transit Company granted Grayline Charter license
1972 – Interlocal Agreement signed with Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties to form OSOTA.
1984 – The business name changed to Tri County Transit

LYNX was named Community Transportation Coordinator for Central Florida becoming the first regional CTC in the state
Paratransit Service called A+ Link
1994 – OSOTA d/b/a LYNX merged with Central Florida Commuter Rail Authority to become the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority d/b/a LYNX
2002 – Increased funding and paratransit service improvements resulted in a name change to ACCESS LYNX

ADA• Based on jurisdiction of each customer’s residence, charge
trips to the appropriate County regardless of origin or destination
• Each jurisdiction pays their fair share
TD and Medicaid• Provide as many trips as possible, regardless of jurisdiction,
with available funding
