Examination of the deep cervical lymph nodes
• Patient should be seated
• Inspect
• Palpate: compare, assess, mobilty, consistency

Cervical Metastasis – Block dissection• Internal Jugular Vein, Fascia and lymph nodes and
the submandibular salivary glands removed
• Carotid artery and vagus nerves are carefully preserved
• Bilateral spread 3-4 weeks
