AMPLIFIER
amplifierAmplifier is an NGO that creates the artwork for social change movements, hence giving people a voice. For this reason, it was important to create an atmosphere that was conducive for people to speak their mind, whether that be an employee or a client. The artists are contract workers, so the open offices allow for flexibility. The track in the ceiling allows the suspended desks to move freely, while storage is available for any supplies. The museum part showcases Amplifier's importance in these social change movements. *This was a group project with one other interior designer.

INTERNATIONAL PLAZA HOTELThe hotel is a 34 story hotel in Bricktown Oklahoma City. It is attached to a 75 story commercial building with a common area. The hotel portion has a restaurant as well as a large lobby. This particular hotel creates a spiral effect, where you could start at the bottom floor and make it to the top floor simply by taking the stairs and seeing every room. *This project was in coordination with fifth year architects.

steelcase nextFor the Steelcase Next competition, the design was cohesive between the office space and the patient space. Open offices were given for all the employees although there were spaces and pods for more of an intimate and quiet working environ-ment. The Work Cafe was an area where patients and employ-ees could interact together, wether that be lunch or an infor-mative meeting/demonstration, so the design was flexible for tables to be moved if necessary.

mercy clinicMercy Clinic believes in compassionate care and exceptional service. To relate this to new or existing patients, the lobby and workspace will showcase this mission through the materials selected. The project scope was the lobby area and the second floor workspace in the northeast corner, focusing heavily on lighting design.

license no. 1barLicense No. 1 is a bar located in Ann Arbor, MI. The bar focuses heavily on drinks with a limited menu. To convey a relaxed yet intimate atmosphere darker finishes were selected while seat-ing arrangements allowed groups from large to small to all feel as though they were in their own space and not crowding around another group. The fireplace wall and ceiling heaters allow the closed in patio to be functional year-round.

w design -internshipOver the summer, I had the opportunity to do a home remodel. The scope included two bathrooms and a living room. Both bathrooms were completely gutted and the living room ceiling was vaulted. I had the opportunity to spec all the fixtures and equipment as well as the finishes. After meeting with the clients on a few occasions, the final product is below. All of this was completed while working at W Design in Tulsa, OK.
