The LX-Series iron core linear motors address a growing interest in linear motor technology as it becomes more affordable and is increasingly recognized as a practical means of improving machine performance. With the iron core product design, you now have cost-effective options to help you improve machine throughput while reducing maintenance and downtime.

LX-Series linear motors are the combination of LX-Series iron core coils and LDC-Series magnet tracks. LX-Series linear motors are compatible with all LDC-Series accessories. To find out more about LDC-Series magnet tracks and accessories, refer to the Linear Motion section of the Kinetix Motion Control Selection Guide, publication GMC-SG001.

LX-Series linear motors use the LDC-Series cooling plates. See table 28. The cooling plate and flow rates are for air and water cooling for each motor coil.
