Yale GDP/GLP20-25LXEngineered to deliver high productivityin low intensity or medium dutyapplications, the new YaleGDP/GLP20-25LX series meets therequirements of users who require acost-effective solution to their materialshandling needs. The LX is designed tooperate in moderate applications forshort periods of time, or to conductlighter duty work cycles for longer -typical operating hours are in the regionof 500-1,000 hours per annum.

Available with either Diesel or LPGengines and in 2,000 or 2,500kgcapacities only, the new LX has beenconfigured for specific applications,giving customers the opportunity toacquire a truck that exactly meets theirmaterials handling needs, but at areduced level of investment.

High ProductivityThe new 20-25LX provides thesecustomers with the performancecharacteristics they need, ensuring ahigh rate of productivity – theelectronically controlled Powershifttransmission delivers fast load handlingand smooth direction changes. Loadscan be positioned quickly and correctlythanks to the fast hydraulics and theoptional integral sideshift and theresponsive electronically-controlledinching adjustments gives the operatorbetter control of load positioning.

Operator ComfortThe more efficient operators are overthe course of the shift, the moreprofitable the operation will be.Operator comfort is therefore key tomaximizing productivity, so the LXdriving position offers the ideal workplace environment for operators, aswell as excellent all-round visibilityduring handling operations.

Whole-body vibration levels are lowthanks to the isolated powertrain andthe standard full-suspension seat. Footspace is ample and all controls are inwithin easy reach - a 30cm diametersteering wheel with spinner knob, withan adjustable steering column offersinfinite adjustments and comfort andthe cowl-mounted hydraulic levers areprecise and easy to operate. As driversoften need to get on and off the truckregularly during the shift, entry and exit

is made easy thanks to a simple 3-pointentry system, with a low step height of38cm.

Reliable OperationWhile carefully designed to operateefficiently in specific applications withmoderate duty cycles, the LX stillretains the innovative design andengineering, solid construction andreliability familiar to Yale users. Provencomponents, such as sealed electricalconnectors, O-ring face seal fittingsand a well-regarded durable powershifttransmission, plus a simplified electricalsystem that retains the benefits ofCANbus wiring, mean that - in the rightapplication - LX models will deliverexcellent reliability, ensuring maximumuptime, high productivity and reducedcosts.

Low Operating CostsFurthermore, the LX offers exceptionalvalue for money - An efficient 2.6LDiesel or 2.0L LPG engine, single-speed transmission and lighter overallweight help to maximise efficiency anddeliver lower fuel costs, providing anideal balance between the amount ofloads moved and fuel used.

The use of right-sized, dependablecomponents, reduced electroniccomplexity and a simplified list ofoptions mean that over the lifetime ofthe truck, the savings continue to addup. With lower overall operating costs,the LX represents a cost-effectivesolution for medium-duty materialshandling operations with loweroperating hours.

Easy MaintenanceMaintenance is made easy thanks tothe complete cowl-to-counterweightservice access, with a 65° openinghood and one-piece removable floorplate, helping to reduce downtime.Unplanned service can be kept to theminimum thanks to the use of proven,reliable components, such as sealedelectrical connectors with IP66 ratingagainst ingress of dirt and water,helping to keep your truck, and youroperation, running smoothly.
