emergency medical services to Lutherville and 34 surrounding communities
• Established 1909
• Been in present location since 1927
• Station 30 of Baltimore County Fire Department
LVFC Membership
• 100% VOLUNTEER – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
• About 100 members
• About half of our members live or work within sound of siren
Baltimore County Fire Department
• 33 volunteer stations providing fire, rescue and EMS
• 25 career stations
• Volunteer stations save millions of dollars annually in tax dollars
Why our Community NEEDS a New Building
• Better training facilities to meet NFPA standards• All apparatus in one building to meet readiness response
time (LVFC response time is less than 3 minutes) • New living facilities (including bathrooms) • New study area for college students• ADA Compliant (Elevator, etc.)• Community center to host neighborhood activities• Upgrade administrative offices• Better facilities will help attract & retain new volunteer
recruits
