Learning Objecves Aſter parcipang in this educaonal acvity, the parcipant will be beer able to: Review the advances in endoscopic, surgical, and management of Barre’s metaplasia and esophageal cancer. Recognize the importance of proper idenficaon of pancreac neuroendocrine tumors and their treatment algorithm. Describe the advances in colon cancer detecon as well as the importance of genecs in this malignancy. Discuss the pros and cons related to lung cancer screening. Summarize the current approaches to staging lung cancer. Describe the various surgical opons available for treang both early and advanced stage lung cancer, including minimally invasive techniques. Assess where radiofrequency ablaon fits into the treatment strategies for managing thoracic malignancies. Discuss the surgical opons available for treang CNS involvement in paents with advanced thoracic malignancies. Summarize the efficacy of chemotherapy in paents with lung cancer. This conference will focus on the pathology and clinical management of patients diagnosed with thoracic and GI cancers, as well as strategies for implementing treatment options.
