experience on boilers in the new built-in heat-boxes

LUNA SAT.

Luna SAT

Heat consumption meters for WIRELESS transmissiondata reading can be done WIRELESS

The heat consumption meter is built-in in

the Luna SAT.

LUNA SAT are provided with heat consumption

meters for the wireless consumption data

transmission, without using electric cables.

Thanks to a digital display, the direct consumption

reading is anyhow possible.

WIRELESS transmissionTo save on reading timing and respecting users privacy,

consumption data can be communicated wireless by a signal

sent from the heat consumption meters to the network nodes

that receive and store data.

Consumption data transmission made by heat meters is

repeated 6 times a day for some milliseconds.

This automatic reading system allows the control of the

building consumptions from one single position, avoiding

possible reading mistakes, quickly and with the maximum

easiness.

Reading and transmission of consumption data can be done both locally and remote using the accessories

available as option.

Installation solutions

We report here some indicative examples of LUNA SAT

applications in centralized installation meant to serve

buildings with more than one living unit. In the heating

station there are installed BAXI condensing boilers, to

have high energetic performances and low polluting

emissions.

The heating production managing is assigned to the user

who, with LUNA SAT, can autonomously adjust the

domestic comfort level according to the own needs;

the user in fact can choose, as it happens in independent

heating solutions, both the DHW supply temperature and

the own room temperature level.

Example of solutionWe report here the basic and optional components

necessary for a living complex with 32 users (26 RSP

heat-boxes and 6 RS2Z heat-boxes) divided in 2

blocks of 4 fl ats.

(The distance between the 2 blocks must not be

more than 25 metres).

Luna SAT

The installation is technically centralized but made of

recording units for the heat and DHW distribution, that

make each fl at autonomous, as far as the managing and

heating costs sharing.

The idea which is on the basis of this type of

installation, is to integrate both the heating and the

DHW production with the heat produced by a series of

solar collectors.

A cylinder with big capacity, double coil, stores the

heat produced by the solar collectors and is eventually

integrated with fl oor standing condensing boilers in

cascade.

Luna SAT B60 cylinder

The water of the primary circuit stored in the

centralized cylinder is used both for the heating of the

living units and for the coil exchanger of the single

cylinders. With this installation, annual coverings of

about the 20% of the whole heating requirements

(heating + DHW) and about 65% of the only DHW needs

can be obtained.
