ONLY VBS registrations may be dropped off.

All other camp registrations must be done in person.

All campers must be registered by their parent or guardian ONLY* - registration of friends/neighbors/extended family members will not be accepted. Paperwork must be completed for each child. Camps are filled on a first come, first served basis only. If a camp is full, we encourage your child to be put on the wait list for that camp. Refunds are available if requested via email only, no less than 14 days prior to camp date. *For extenuating circumstances, please contact directors before registration.

Summer Camp Survival Tips

Camp confirmation emails will be sent out prior to the start of each camp. Email will

include which door to enter, what to bring (if needed), and any other important information.

Campers must be signed in and out daily by a designated parent or guardian.

Please list any allergies on daily sign in sheet. Children with allergies/medical needs

will be issued identifying wrist bands.

No early drop-offs. Doors will open five minutes before start of each camp day. Please dress your child in comfortable, easy-wash clothing and closed-toe shoes.

**Please note** Camps that say “potty trained required” means that your child must be FULLY potty trained to attend this camp. Parent will be called to pick up child if they do not meet this requirement. Thank you for your understanding.

Preschool Camps Infants - Entering Kindergarten

Art & Play Kids will have fun with crafts, songs and games all centered around a selection of fun books

AJ Dance Camp Join us for a week of dancing with Disney songs! Come learn a variety of dances to

help broaden your child’s knowledge of dance styles and skills! Each camp will have a Friday performance show-case that family & friends are invited to attend. *Attire - comfortable play clothes with lightweight tennis shoes or dance shoes. Jr. LEGO® Explorers (Bricks 4 Kidz) Time: M - F, 9a - 12p **see below for dates/themes offered** Ages: 3-5yrs/enter Kinder **potty trained REQUIRED** Cost: $150/week Teacher: Br icks 4 K idz staff & LUMC Children ’s Ministries staff Dates/Themes: June 5 - 9 ~ Water & Insects Children will be fascinated to learn about water and insects. Watch your preschooler’s eyes light up as they dig into a pile of brightly-colored DUPLO® bricks and build their favorite insect! They will practice letter recognition, size comparison, shape and color identification, counting, placement vocabulary, and patterning. Engaging models based on the ABCs are the building blocks of our Bricks 4 Kidz preschool curriculum.

June 12 - 16 ~ Lil’ Brick McFarm & Jungle Animals Join us to build & play in Old McDonalds farm and fun in the jungle. Build a slithering snake, leaping lion, mischievous monkey, and farmer McDonald's farm animals . Learning will expand leaps and bounds as they build, sing songs, and learn fun facts about these animals. This camp is designed to kindle their creativity and ex-citement as children use their imaginations during creative build time. They will take on challenges to create LEGO® patterns.

June 26 - 30 ~ Food & You! Come have fun & learn how to keep your body healthy! Children will also learn about a few spe-cific foods that can be found at the grocery store, from healthy fruits to sweet treats. While having fun, they wiill practice letter recog-nition, size comparison, shape and color identification, counting, placement vocabulary, and patterning.

July 10 - 14 ~ Sound & Big Trucks! There are so many different sounds in the world! Children will learn about the sounds some different things make. Children will also love building work vehicles and learn about the people who operate them. Vroom vroom!!! Let’s get to work! Kids will practice using fine motor skills and make new friends, all while learning and playing.

Theme/Dates/Time/Cost: Bright Sunny Days & Starry Nights art camp - being inspired by the artworks of Vincent Van Gogh, campers will paint their own versions of sunflowers & Starry Night canvases. **All camps are 9a - 12p** June 5 & 6 - entering 1st - 3rd grades $50 June 7 & 8 - entering 4th - 6th grades $50 Painted Paper Projects - campers will create works of art using paper that they have printed & painted in the style of Eric Carle and Henri Matisse. The force will awaken a love for engineering. Join us on an adventurous journey through space ! We will build LEGO® models including rebel fighter, our own special YODA and lots of other cool space stuff. Come experience this stellar journey into a galaxy far far away

June 12 - 16, 1p –4p ~ Pocket Brick Monster (think Pokemon) Get ready for fun and adventure in the world of Pokemon – Bricks 4 Kidz style! Capture ‘wild’ creatures (made of Lego bricks of course) and ‘train’ them for battle. Use your creativity and engineering skills to construct 3D Bricks 4 Kidz models. Plus, you’ll build amazing, moving Bricks 4 Kidz custom creations related to the game. Lots of Pokemon themed builds, challenges, mosaics and even crafts you’ll be able to take home.

June 26 - 30, 9a - 12p ~ BAT LEAGUE - Heroes and Villains Campers build motorized LEGO® models of the BAT hero's speedy vehicles and BAT girl's sleek cycle. Send the Bat Hero swinging on his grappling hook technic model from one sky scraper to the next as he fights crime. Campers will use their imagination, building skills and crime-fighting passion in this thrilling camp of BAT Heroes and villains!!!

July 10 - 14, 9a - 12p ~ Angry Birdy Enter into the world of Angry Birds® and Bad Piggies®…the Bricks 4 Kidz way! Campers will be challenged to physically build and destroy a level from the popular game of Angry Birds. Set your birds to flight by launching them on catapults and slingshots to destroy pigs. Build a working launcher to create things to knock down.

July 10 - 14, 1p - 4p ~ Jurassic Brick Land Put on your hiking booths and camouflage… you are about to enter Jurassic Brick Land! We'll learn about amazing dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic Period and other extinct prehistoric animals that roamed the earth, millions of years ago. Come, Learn, Build and play at Jurassic Brick Land Camp!

July 31 - Aug 4, 9a - 12p ~ Remote Control Mania Making it move is the name of the game at this exciting Bricks 4 Kidz® camp! Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls. Each day, campers will use fascinating and challenging LEGO components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives.

You’ll have loads of fun creating your own or us-ing your favorites characters to develop your comic book story, design your comic book sets & backdrops and incorporate pictures of your sets, all designed with LEGO® Bricks! Using computers, software, cameras, & imagination, kids will have tons of fun in this camp. At the end of the week, campers will be provided with a printed & digital copy of the comic book they created.

The Bricks 4 Kidz Junior Robotics class offers all the fun of building with LEGO(R) Bricks, PLUS the challenge of computer programming! Using drag-and-drop icon-based software, WeDo software provides an introduction into the world of computer-programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. This fun, ac-tion-packed camp combines real-life skills with real-kid fun!

July 10 - 14 OR July 31 - Aug 4, 9a - 12p ~ Movie Making - STOP MOTION ANIMATION Everything is Awe-some at Stop Motion Animation Camp! Lights, Cameras, LEGO®, Computers, Software and your creativity combine to design, create, and film a Stop Action Movie. Using LEGO® Bricks, and specialty themed LEGO® sets you tell your story – complete with music, special ef-fects, and all your favorite Mini—Figure LEGO® Characters. In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own MiniMovie using Stop Motion Animation. Working as a team, students will use LEGO® components to build the set and props and then shoot their movie using a camera. Bring your dreams and see your ideas come alive. Each student will have a movie file of their creations to take home and share!

M.A.D. Camp (Music. Art. Dram a.) “The King’s Garden” - The ‘stakes’ are high

for God’s children to remain focused on the Lord. Join us as we walk through the King’s garden.
