WE’RE COMMITTEDGreeks at LSU make it happen, so when it’s time to take a stand against sexualassault, you know we’re committed to putting a stop to the violence. We are brothers and sisters who look out for one another, who intervene in a safe way when we see a risky situation unfolding, and who always ask first and respect the answer. The Greek community at LSU is a family, and this family is committed to respect, consent and
responsibility every time, everywhere.
Most sexual violence occurs between acquaintances or partners.
Did you know?
Confidential support and resources, including Sexual Assault
Nurse Examiner (SANE) services
www.lsu.edu/lighthouse225-578-5718
Seek support, medical care, accommodations, and
counseling—withoutidentifying your perpetrator.
File a Code of Student Conduct violation.
File a police report and begin the criminal justice process.
Know your options to report sexual violence:Consent cannot be given by a person impaired by alcohol and/or other drugs.
Consent can change at any time during an interaction.
Consent must be without coercion or manipulation.
Silence may not in and of itself constitute consent. Only yes means yes.
Past consent of sexual activity does not imply future, on-going consent.
You must ask for consent before each sexual encounter.
Reporting your crime helps the university support and
care for your individual needs in a nonjudgmental, confidential environment.
You can even report online 24/7 at saa.lsu.edu or
lsu.edu/police.
