Overview of Tel-Aviv Mass PT Progress

NTA, Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd. is a government owned company responsible for
the design, construction and implementation of the Tel Aviv metropolitan mass transit system.
A similar organization was set up in Jerusalem implementing the 1st LRT line.
The Red Line
The 1st of the mass transit system, the Red line, is currently under construction. It is expected
to begin commercial operation on October 2021.
More LRT and Metro Lines are in various stages of planning QP Tender was issued for
Green Line & Purple Line
NTA is procuring yet another feasibility study for a full Metro network in the Tel Aviv
Metropolitan area.
