these programs, please contact Deacon Jim Tanguay at [email protected] or call

(860) 666-1591, ext. 3.

Got Lunch Newington is a collaborative community program that will feed over 125 hungry

children in Newington for 10 weeks this summer. The program relies on donations to provide the

groceries necessary for healthy lunches each week. The past two years, Annunciation Parish

generously donated to this program and we are asking parishioners to do so again.

We are in need of the following specific items which can be dropped off in the bins provided at

each entrance May 18 & 19.

5 ounce cans of water-packed tuna or chicken

30 ounce plastic jars of mayonnaise

16 ounce plastic jars of peanut butter

16 ounce plastic jars of grape jelly

Please check expiration dates as some donations will be stored and used toward the end of the

summer. For more information, go to GotLunch.org. Thank you in advance for your support!

Newington Food Pantry Collection

A very sincere “Thank You” to all who participated in our Knights of Columbus

Newington Food Pantry Collection last weekend for non-perishable food and hygiene items.

Many people in need in our town will benefit from your generosity. Items weighing almost 200

pounds were donated! The next collection is the first weekend of June at the main entrance of

both churches. The collections are held the first weekend of each month.
