This new line not only includes shoes but our new line of handbags. VARQ is the gold leafing that signifies opulence, which is mirrored through our collection and design. The Varq line has a more ethnic feel to it and takes inspirations from our Indian roots. We use the same technique in the making of a VARQ shoe that we do when constructing a Veruschka shoe. All our footwear is handmade by local artisans using the finest techniques and embroidery. VARQ was introduced with the belief that a good quality shoe is one of the simplest forms of luxury. THE PROCESS OF CREATING THE PERFECT SHOE

CRAFTSMANSHIP This is how a shoe gives birth to a Shoe Sculptor-Payal Kothari.

It takes 5 artisans to make a pair of Veruschka shoes. Processes are kept simple in small-scale factory and it is still very much a handmade product. The journey of our shoes starts in our

design studio, where questions of trends, practicality and comfort are addressed.

Once at the factory, the mold for each design is fitted and the patterns selected are prepared. Then each part from the inner, to the heels and sole is put together, often without the help of machines. Before each pair of Veruschka shoes are packed and sent to the shelves, a rigorous

quality check is conducted.

COLLECTION Our designs are as dynamic as the women who adorn them, and celebrate the shades of

passion. A Veruschka collection is introduced every season for Spring-Summer-Autumn & Winter. Varq collections are more festive oriented celebrating Indian traditions. Veruschka shoes are available through several luxury stores across India as well as some of the high

fashion cities of the world such as Italy, Japan and Dubai.
