The graph shot last around 12 seconds; we will either leave the intro as it is or quicken it.

The trailer begins with a mid-shot of one character beginning to tell the story of the haunted mansion.

The shot will last around 10 seconds before it fades away to the next shot; her voice will be sound-bridged over the next shot.

This shot will zoom into the entrance to the house, either a gate or an arch.

The low-shot will either be shown very quick, making it look daunting or rather slowly, representing the fact that you shouldn’t go there.

This shot starts as an establishing shot of the house; lasting for about 5 seconds.

The shot then becomes a panning shot of the surrounding grounds; which lasts longer than the previous shot as this is where most of the trailer will centre.

Throughout this shot, the voiceover is still playing.

It then cuts back to a mid-shot of the group of friends – all silent.

There is then a close-up of another character daring the friends.

Before there is another close-up of a character agreeing to the dare following a few seconds of silence.

There is then a high-shot of the characters walking into the ground.

Followed by a long-shot of the characters setting up camp.

Page 9: Lost soul' animatic

There is the same long-shot, just a few hours later. The shadow of someone is then reflected in the tent – loud music sounds and a character stirs.

Page 10: Lost soul' animatic

The camera then tracks as one character leaves the tent to check outside, with the others peering out feebly.

The shot remains as she tells her friends there is nothing outside.

A panning close-up from the protagonists point of view (POV) suddenly stops to show the ghost girl – the character then screams.

Page 12: Lost soul' animatic

A mid-shot then shows the other friends scramble out of the tent, screaming and running away though the grounds.

This could then lead on to an over-the-shoulder shot of the ghost girl, watching her victims run.

Page 13: Lost soul' animatic

After following one character running though the grounds, she hides from the ghost.

Page 14: Lost soul' animatic

The camera gets close and the ghost suddenly appears from behind; dragging the character away screaming.

Page 15: Lost soul' animatic

There will then be a montage of short shots of several different scenes which will run for around 30 seconds.

The non-digetic sounds will then suddenly stop and ‘Lost Soul’ will suddenly fade into the screen.

This title card will then fade out and be replaced by one that reads ‘Coming Soon’.

Following the second title card, there will be another shot. The picture will begin black before a character switches a torch onto her face and screams ‘Boo’, before it fades out with her laughing.
