Welcome to Fernie Alpine Catering
Located in Fernie, British Columbia, Fernie Alpine Catering consists of Fernie
Alpine Resort, Lizard Creek Lodge and the Clubhouse Restaurant at Fernie
Golf and Country Club. Fernie Alpine Catering is home to the new Cirque
Restaurant which offers a stunning backdrop and romantic mountain lodge feel
to start your life together.
With the majority of our venues and accommodations being at Fernie Alpine
Resort, you and your guests will never run out of things to do or new places to
explore! In the summer we offer lift-assisted hiking and sightseeing, guided
mountain hikes, mountain biking, an aerial park and on-mountain dining. If you
have always dreamed of having a winter wedding, make sure you pack your skis
or snowboard and join us on the hill with the biggest vertical in the Rockies!
We have activities for all ages and abilities from snowshoeing, to cross-country
skiing and even fat biking!
Just a 3 hour drive from Calgary, Fernie Alpine Catering will provide you with
the magical mountain setting that you have always dreamed of for your
wedding celebration. The utmost care and service will be ensured, allowing you
and your guests the opportunity to relax and indulge in your surroundings.

Lost Boys Café
Seating & Decorations
Seating for up to 100 guests and a signing table with a chair will be provided and set up by the resort staff. All other decorations and accent
pieces will be the responsibility of the bride and groom to set up.
Inclement Weather
Mountain weather is unpredictable and can change drastically. In the case of inclement weather we will make every attempt to accommodate
the situation by delaying the service as long as possible. If the weather does not subside, or delaying is not an option, your ceremony will be
moved indoors to the Slopeside Café located in the plaza.
Your Ceremony
Say “I do” while surrounded by the spectacular views of
the Lizard Mountain Range. Ride the Timber Express
Chair Lift to the Lost Boys Café and say your vows on
the large wrap-around deck adjoining the alpine-
themed timber and stone structure.
You will have exclusive use of the space that you book:
Afternoon (2-4pm) rental fee
$2500.00 plus GST
Full day (10am-4pm) rental is available upon re-
quest
Lift tickets are included
Available weekends & Statutory Holidays during
summer operational season
Additional dates available upon request

Make your day unforgettable in the tranquility of these
natural surroundings. Say your vows on the Tamarack
Lawn at the base of the mountain next to the Deer
Chair.
You will have exclusive use of the space:

Floor-to-ceiling windows allow you and your guests to enjoy the view of the Lizard Mountain Range as you celebrate the beginning of your

sponsibility of the bride and groom to set up.

Facilities & Catering Information Catering Menus
Fernie Alpine Catering offers a wide selection of menu items for your special function. Sample menus are provided in our Catering Guide. We
are also happy to tailor a menu for your special function.
Cocktail Reception
An assortment of hors d’oeurves are available and are served on platters or buffet style food stations. Please see our Catering Guide for more
information.
Buffet & Plated Service
Plate service is available at the Cirque Restaurant, the Griz Lodge and the Clubhouse Restaurant. Buffet service is offered at all of Fernie Alpine
Catering’s venues.
Alcohol Service
BC liquor laws state that Fernie Alpine Catering must supply all alcohol for any event. Cash bar, host bar, or combination bar are available at
all of our venues.
Legal drinking age in BC is 19 years of age. Photo ID will be requested for anyone appearing under 25 years of age.
Table Set Up
All tables are set with white linen, china, silverware and glassware. Square and/or rectangular tables are set with 4-10 guests per table
depending on the size and location of your wedding. Round tables are available at an additional cost for the Clubhouse Restaurant and the Griz
Lodge.
Entertainment
Satellite music is available in most of our venues. Live entertainment can be arranged at an additional cost. Some restrictions apply.
Decorating
Pre-reception decorating and post-reception decoration clean-up is the responsibility of the bride and groom. Fernie Alpine Catering will
provide assistance with the clean up of decorations at an additional cost.
Brides and grooms must obtain permission from the venue staff if they
are affixing any materials to the walls, floors, ceilings or furnishings.
No confetti or rice is permitted at any of the venues.
Audio/Visual Equipment
Equipment is available for use at Fernie Alpine Catering locations only.
LCD projector and screen $100 plus GST per day
PA system (speakers and mic) $50 plus GST per day
Speaker’s podium $50 plus GST per day
Additional Catering Information
All food and beverages must be supplied by Fernie Alpine Catering
with the exception of specialty cakes/cupcakes. Cakes will be subject
to a cutting and service fee of $2 per guest (cutting and plateware
provided).
Corkage events are respectfully declined due to BC liquor bylaws
disallowing restaurants to partake in this service.
Any food from a full service catered event cannot be packaged to take
home.

Deposits
We do require a non-refundable deposit of $1000 to secure your wedding date and venues.
Contract
The full details will be confirmed in writing and this is our basis of acceptance. Only subsequent changes to which we agree in writing are part
of that contract.
Please discuss any possible changes (including numbers), rather than assuming that variations are possible.
Once a wedding day has been reserved, we strictly reserve the specified venue for your date and time.

Lizard Creek Lodge Accommodations
Accommodations
To host a wedding at Cirque Restaurant at Lizard Creek Lodge, you and your guests must rent out the 14 units in the Main Lodge the evening
of the event. The bride and groom will receive the honeymoon suite complimentary on the wedding night. Your guests will receive a 20%
discount for their entire stay.
