SAMUEL HINES
Praised for his clear interpretive powers, technical finesse and engaging
performances, Samuel Hines returns to his native Southern California to
make his debut on our guitar series. A first
competitions, including most recently the 2017 East Carolina University
Guitar Competition and Festival, he is currently a graduate te
assistant at the University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Don’t miss this

THE LOS ANGELES DUO and STEVEN THACHUK
This special fundraiser features some of the area’s finest guitarists,
coming together in celebration and support of the American Guitar
Society and its programs. On the bill are Jack Sanders performing on
Baroque guitar, Brian Barany, The Los Angeles Duo (Bryan Fasola and
Donovan Butez), and Steven Thachuk. It’s a unique one
great way to introduce your family and friends to the beauty of the
classical guitar, with four for the price of one. Such an event is sure to be

LAVC guitar faculty Jordan Charnofsky and Gregory Newton take to the
stage in a special benefit concert for the LAVC Guitar Program. Joined by
a number of special guest performers, they will present an exciting
program of solos, duos and mixed chamber music. As is their custom,
there will also be some surprises! Please show your support for our LAVC
