Introduction

A number of student surveys cite the web as the most important recruitment tool for students, particularly for international postgraduate students.

Not only should the web provide factual information about the University, it should also provide a feel of what life is like at Leeds and bring our ambitions and level of aspiration alive, through the way information is presented, how content is written and how new technologies are innovatively used.

Purpose

Design simple website for our department, that contain of three web pages, these pages together will constitute the site of a fictitious software engineering department.

The Proposed System

The new website will allow all of software engineering department lecturers and students & many other people to get more information about the department easily.

 1.Add new all lecturers whose attend to

department with all of their information which make the contact with them more easily.

2.Add new courses with a full description so anyone can know what the course will discuss.

First page:

Contain last news and advertisements and some general information about department, which explain to the students and visitors the latest news and activates in department.

Second page:Include the thumbnail photos of 20 faculty together with their names, email addresses and phone numbers. These photos should be arranged in two columns, and the names of the faculty should all be hyperlinks to “http://www.up.edu.ps/cs/”.

Contain a table of the classes offered by the fictitious department. The three columns of the table should contain the code of the class, a short description and the name of the instructor.
