No hard copy or emailed submission materials will be accepted going forward. All primary submission documents (e.g. application, revised 503, protocol template, delegation logs, etc.) are now located within the IRBNet library. The previous hard copy forms (211, 226, 503) are no longer required and will not be accepted. Ancillary documents used during preparation of an IRB submission are still available on the AHC IRB web site under IRB Submission Forms and SOPs (e.g. the HRP-400 series, short-form consents). Good Day,

Advocate Health Care has transitioned its IRB to an electronic system (IRBNet) and you must register to access

The IRBNet system allows simultaneous access to documents by Principal Investigators, the study primary coordinator and associate investigators that are invited by the PI/coordinator, as well as the IRB. “Pass-through” reviews intended for WIRB as the IRB of Record will also be handled within the program. Sign-offs by Department Chairs, local review committees (PRCs) and Research Support Departments will be collected within the system.
