On behalf of every faculty and staff member at the Cortiva Institute, we thank you for your interest in joining our unique community of learning. We congratulate you on taking the first steps toward changing your life and we hope that you will allow us to help you become a successful massage therapist.

We are committed not only to giving you the best education possible, but also to helping you build a successful career after you graduate.

Thank you again for your interest in our school. We strongly encourage you to make an appointment to visit us. We’ll give you a campus tour, introduce you to some of our staff and faculty, and answer all of your questions about our school and your future career.

We look forward to meeting you!

thank you!|

Thomas Edison once said, “The Doctor of the future will give no medication, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” Modern medicine has to move toward this premise. I specialize in structural bodywork and corrective-type modalities. Not only have I experienced incredible transformation within my own body, I have seen absolutely amazing things happen because of integrating the human structure.

The thing that got me so excited about bodywork happened one day during my clinic shift as a student. There was a quote on the wall by Aristotle that stated, “Soul and body react sympathetically upon each other; a change in the state of the soul creates a change in the shape of the body and conversely, a change in the shape of the body creates a change in the state of the soul.” It hit me. The impact that I could have on humanity became a reality. What a calling, to truly serve at such a basic and amazing level.

I have always felt a deep urgency and commitment to pass on the information that I have learned and gathered. Teaching and sharing bodywork with the students that have come through the program has allowed me to expand my vision of massage therapy far beyond my physical presence. There aren’t enough massage therapists and there is a tremendous need for education to the general public. So many people suffer every day and there is no need to live in pain.
