LOCATION ADDRESSWoolston District Park, Somerset Way, Rixton and Woolston, Warrington, WA1 4LN
TYPE OF BUILDING/STRUCTURE/LANDSCAPEPublic park, forest.
WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?The location of Woolston park is suitable for the photo-shoot of the magazine cover that I am creating. This photo-shoot is themed around sport and I will use a rugby pitch which is located in the park to undertake this process. The use of a rugby pitch is suitable for my photo-shoot as it is a key convention of my sports magazine. The fact there is a limited amount of objects in the background of the location is key as I want the model to be the centre of attention of the magazine so it can attract a wide range of audiences in to buying this sports magazine. Having the model in the middle of the background also captures the strength and agility of the model.
ACCESS
TRANSPORT LINKS TO LOCATIONThe park has various transport links varying from bus, car, walking and cycling. However, the model I am using is a member of my amateur rugby team and he uses the car to get to this location.PHYSICAL ACCESS TO SITEThe physical access to the location of the site will be the mode of walking.

Measurements of space used on location: (Use paces if necessary)For this photo-shoot I will only need to use 10 meters by 10 meters of space as I am only using the space allocated to me by my rugby teams coaches.
Describe any restrictions/hazards in the immediate vicinity:The only restriction that will affect the procedure of my photo-shoot will be if there is another rugby team on the pitch at the same time me and the model are on the rugby pitch. This is a restriction as it will limit the amount of space me and the model can actually use.
Where will the crew work on this location? The crew will work in front of the model on this location, making sure that both they and the equipment is in the correct position. It is also important that the crew remain behind the equipment on the photo-shoot. To ensure that the photograph is looking aesthetically pleasing and that the shot is right.
Where will the cast work on this location? The model will be in front of the camera on this location, and it is important that they are not looking directly into the camera or totally ignoring it as they have to be portrayed as professional.
TOP 3 RISKS IDENTIFIED ON LOCATION(N.B. this does not replace the Risk Assessment form which must be carried out for any practical project)
Wet grass is a risk on this location as the pitch I commonly damp and one of the members of the photo-shoot could slip or trip.
Tripping is a risk on this location as there are a lot of twigs located around the surrounding areas of the pitch.
Rain is a risk in this location as the pitch is exposed and there is not a lot if trees covering the location, this could cause the equipment to get wet or damaged.
Describe the aesthetics of the location (e.g. Describe the potential camera shots or describe the acoustic value of the location)
The aesthetics of the location vary from potential camera shots and the camera shots that I aim to use on this magazine cover will be a mid-shot or close up as they manage to capture the strength and agility of the model.
