Vessel Status:

- Vessel has been in warm lay-up status since Spring 2014. The machinery has been startedup periodically since that time but no scheduled maintenance has been completed.

- The vessel is classed under Lloyd’s Register but currently class is suspended due to thelay-up status of the vessel.

- The vessel has not been entered into the Delegated Statutory Inspection Program.

Viewing Time, Date and Location:

1:30 pm on September 14, 2016 at Government Wharf, Lewisporte, NL onboard the vessel.This is the only scheduled viewing. Separate arrangements for viewings for those who missedthe above scheduled date and time may not be entertained depending personnel availability.

BID SUB’IISSIONS

Appendix “A” attached, _1_ page, shall be completed in full and returned with the biddocuments. Failure to do so may result in the bid being rejected.

The deadline for bid submissions is 4:00:59 P.M., Thursday, October 06, 2016

Unless stated otherwise in the invitation, bids must remain open and are irrevocable for a periodof 45 days after the invitation closing date. Bidders cannot change or cancel their Bidsubmissions after the closing date has passed.

Prices quoted shall be in Canadian funds.

On or before the time specified as the “deadline for bid submissions” indicated above.

Bid submissions mailed, couriered or otherwise delivered to Government Purchasing Agencyshould have the disposal tender number clearly annotated on the outside of the envelope.

Bid submissions may be returned by fax at (709) 7295817 unless otherwise indicated herein.Bids submitted by facsimile must be received “in full” at the Government Purchasing Agency bythe specified closing time. Documents in transmission after the closing time will be consideredlate bids and shall not be considered.

Unsigned bids shall not be considered.

The highest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.

PAYMENTPayment iiiust be made within ten (10) business days of notification of a successful bid. Ifpayment is not made within that period, the award will be cancelled. The only acceptableforms ofpayment are certified cheque, money order and bank draft. REMOVALThe successful bidder will have thirty (30) calendar days after the Government PurchasingAgency confirms receipt of payment within which to remove items from their location. Allremoval costs will be the responsibility of the successful bidder. Ownership of the items notremoved after thirty (30) calendar days will revert back to the Crown.The department reserves the right at its sole discretion to request a “vessel removal plan”for information and discussion purposes only from the successful bidder.
