Summer Pre-K Program

Pre-K Summer Program: For the eighth year, incoming kindergarten children who have not attended preschool were sought out and offered enrollment in the Pre-K summer program. Title I Funds were used.

A portfolio, including the Ages and Stages questionnaire, was completed for each student and will be shared with the Principal and kindergarten teacher for the upcoming school year.

The City of Pleasanton who had previously coordinated the program donated a number of supplies and equipment for this year’s program.

Transportation

PUSD drivers provided transportation for Extended School Year students. In addition, PUSD and Durham drivers provided transportation for a small number of our general education students who would not have otherwise been able to attend summer school. PUSD and Durham drivers provided transportation from Valley View and Pleasanton Middle to Alisal and Foothill respectively.
