The joy of building an AIM business goes beyond fi-nancial freedom, flexibility, and in-dependence. At its core, AIM is people helping people. For many Members, AIM is family.

This is evident in the experience of Chairman’s Club Directors Charlotte and Keith Thompson from Dundee, Ohio. The Thompsons have built significant relationships in their community and beyond by being purposeful in their sharing of AIM nutrition. By doing so, they have built a successful business with a considerable downline—eighty-one Directors and seven elite Directors—and had the opportunity to connect with thousands of health seekers. Just as importantly, they have found their AIM family.

“We live in an area of small farming communities, where neighbors help neighbors,” Charlotte said. “It is seldom that we leave home without seeing someone we know. We have made friends, visited the sick, and spoke in many home meetings in our local area for over sixteen years of AIM opportunities.”

For the past ten years, the Thompsons have reunited with this family at the Dundee, Ohio AIM Conference. Since the first meeting in 2004, the event has drawn considerable interest from the local community and brought together not only the Thompsons’ downline, but other AIM Members, with attendance well into the 100s.

“We wanted to educate our local community about health and nutrition along with the benefits of the AIM products,” Charlotte said. “We feel if people can improve their health the natural way, it is easy to share the good news with others. Everyone seems to leave the conference each year encouraged to share with others, so we have seen our group grow.”

At the 2013 Ohio AIM Conference in October, the event celebrated its tenth year with more than 200 people filling the meeting space in

Dundee, Ohio, for two days of AIM education. The event truly is a reunion—for Charlotte and Keith, their large downline and their loyal supporters in Chairman’s Club Director Dr. John Shewfelt, Royal Emerald

Director Ralph Peterson, and AIM co-owner Dennis Itami and

his wife Kay. Together, this AIM family makes the Ohio AIM Conference

possible.

How Ohio’s Conference happensPlanning for each Ohio AIM Conference begins

two years in advance. Charlotte has already reserved meeting space the 2014 and 2015 Ohio AIM Conferences.

For publicizing the event, the Thompsons have found that the best way is via personal invitation. Charlotte and Keith printed 1,600 invitations for this year’s Ohio AIM Conference and had them prepared to distribute two months prior to the event, either through mail or handed out in person. In addition to invitation cards, the Thompsons also engage with their community at other events in the build-up to the conference.

Charlotte and Keith will help anyone who needs it. They have driven countless miles to explain the AIM products to others. Charlotte is a great teacher and has helped so many overcome

the spiritual, physical or mental encounters that they are going through. The Thompsons have tender, giving hearts, and they care about the personal lives of everyone they come into contact with.

“We have had an annual AIM Partners Picnic for most of fourteen years in our back yard as well as other locations,” Charlotte said. “At that event, we have a great time with good food, testimonies, and door prizes, And we hand out cards to kick off our upcoming fall conference.”

Involvement from the AIM familyThe event would not be what it is without the

support of the Thompsons’ AIM family.

Dr. John Shewfelt’s involvement, along with that of Ralph Peterson and his late wife Phyllis, has been integral to the event’s continued success.

“Our community loves being able to phone Dr. Shewfelt with questions from a doctor’s point of view,” Charlotte said. “After Dr. John saw the good turnout from the first conference, he encouraged us to hold annual events.

“Ralph Peterson and his dear wife would often come early to help out with the conference in any way they could, flying or driving at their expense to support us. Most every year, Ralph speaks on sharing the AIM opportunity. For many years, he and Phyllis helped us pack folders around our dining room table for our conference attendees.”

HEALTHY RECIPE:I wanted to make some healthy, homemade, no-bake cookies. So many substitutions were made to the online recipe I found that it has become my own creation of sorts. I love it when you post recipes using AIM products as I’m doing my best to give healthy stuff to my kiddos! It takes a lot of creativity. My family devours these!

Courtney’s No-Bake CoCoa Bites2 Tbsp AIM Cocoa LeafGreens™ powder

1 heaping scoop AIM ProPeas®

1 cup dry oatmeal

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)

1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 Tbsp chia seeds

2/3 cup raw coconut flakes

1-2 Tbsp coconut oil

In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients. Roll into small balls and store in freezer.

Yields about two dozen.

It’s a New Year for Business Builders

Back in 1994, I went to college to become a registered massage therapist, opening Cooke & Company Massage a year later. I love what I do. This is how I built my AIM business as the products go hand in hand with good health and quality of life for my clients.

I love AIM products because, first, they helped me to get over the irritable bowel syndrome I had been struggling with back in 1997. Today, my husband, Eddie, and I and our three daughters live in South Carolina. I have a family-health business, Alive Again LLC, that features all of the AIM products, which I live, breathe, eat, and sleep. I was born in 1982, the same year that The AIM Companies™ began. I grew up around barley grass juice powder because AIM has been a part of my family history for three generations.

My grandmother transferred her AIM membership to my mother in 2006. Just over a year later, my mother, Phyllis Hunter, did the same for me. The AIM legacy of good health and wealth lives on. I feel so fortunate that I have the business my grandparents started over thirty-one years ago.

General Manager and Chartered Herbalist, Rose Bird delivered lively presentations about the body’s miraculous ability to rebuild itself in less than a year. Attendees also had an exclusive opportunity to hear the Director of Maya Skills Projects, Julio Cochoy, give an impassioned speech about the human rights violations of Guatemalan women during their country’s civil war. Attendees were able to purchase jewelry created by these women to support their cause.
