I S A I A H 6 : 1 - 1 3

Ang Chapter 6 ng Isaias, ay ang pagbabalik tanaw ng Propeta sa pagkatawag sa Kanya, ang Kanyang personal na Pangitain o Pagkita sa Diyos, na naging dahilan ng pagkatawag sa kanya sa isang Misyon na ipahayag ang Hatol at Pagliligtas ng Diyos sa Kanyang bayang Israel. Dahil siya ay makasalanan alam ni Isaias na hindi siya karapatdapat pakitaan ng Kaluwalhatian ng Diyos. Sa kanyang buong pusong pagpapakumbaba at pagsisisi, siya ay dininig ng Diyos at lubusang pinatawad at nilinis mula sa kanyang mga kasalalan. Nakita ni Isaias ang Diyos, Narinig ang Tinig nito, at bilang tugon sa Pagpapatawad ng Diyos, Inialay ni Isaias ang kanyang buhay upang sundin ang tawag ng Diyos na kanyang maging Propeta. Tumugon si Isaais, “Narito po ako, Ako ang inyong isugo” at sumunod nga si Isaias.

Discussion Questions1. Ang Tugong Pagsunod ni Isaias sa tawag ng Diyos ay bunga ng

kanyang pagsamba at pasasalamat sa Pagpapatawad ng Diyos sa Kanyang mga kasalanan. Sa iyong Pagsamba at Pasasalamat sa kaligtasan ng Panginoong Jesus, Ano ang Tugong Pagsunod mo sa Tawag niyang humayo at gumawa ng Kanyang mga Alagad?

2. Bilang myembro ng GCF, anong bahagi ng Vision at Mission nito ang maaari kang makibahagi upang maisakatuparan ang tawag ng Diyos sa inyo bilang isang Church/Iglesya.

3. Simulang manalangin kung paano sisimulang gumawa ng Alagad ng epektibo sa panahong ito ng Pandemia. Binigyan tayo ng Karunungan at Kakayanan ng Diyos upang siya ay ipahayag hanggang sa dulo ng sanlibutan. Kaya naman, Makiisa, Makibahagi, at Makidiwang sa Pagliligtas ng Diyos.

CONCLUSIONTumugon si Isaias sa tawag ng Diyos, at ang tugon niya ay pagsunod. Ang Diyos ay patuloy na tumatawag sa atin, Sinabi ni Jesus, “Kaya’t humayo kayo, gawin ninyong alagad ko ang mga tao sa lahat ng mga bansa. Bautismuhan ninyo sila sa pangalan ng Ama, at ng Anak, at ng Espiritu Santo. 20 Turuan ninyo silang sumunod sa lahat ng iniutos ko sa inyo. Tandaan ninyo, ako’y laging kasama ninyo hanggang sa katapusan ng panahon.” Ano ang iyong tugon? Nawa ay pagsunod. Sabihin natin sa Diyos, Narito ako Panginoon, Ako po ang Isugo ninyo.

A blessed day, GCF!

When we think about missions, perhaps it can be natural for some to visualize a missionary in a far-off country with a Bible in hand proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in the language of the native people. However, as we have been learning this whole Missions Month, participating in God’s work is not exclusively for the ordained, nor is it limited to a transcontinental journey. Even now, from our very homes, can the people of God, young and old, come together in a joint effort in proclaiming the Gospel.

Within Youth LIVE, the youth ministry of GCF, we have been regularly meeting together virtually for several months now every Monday evening at 8:30 PM for our weekly Family Prayer Time. As a community, we take the time to pray for matters pertaining to our country and even other countries around the world. Recently, we’ve also been committed to lifting up to the Lord different unreached people groups. Prayer is a truly powerful way that children of God can join in their Father’s Kingdom-building agenda, so we as a church should seize every opportunity we can in bringing our hearts together to seek the Lord’s help. If you’re a high school or college student, or are even a parent of one, then this is for you! More than that, for our college students in particular, there is actually another avenue for participating in God’s mission in the digital space that’s available to you. We have our campus ministry called Frontline where students from different universities gather with their peers to study the Bible, rest in each other’s company, and even find ways to minister to their co-students in their schools. If you are a college student or are an incoming one, I invite you to join a Frontline group and remain connected with the community even throughout the school week. So GCF, and particularly the younger generation of our church, let’s stay connected. Let’s not let age disqualify us from participating in God’s mission through our presence and our prayers. My desire for us is that where God has placed us, there too shall be the church — that as one day every tongue and tribe will confess the Name of Jesus, so too shall every student and every school.
