October 20The Occasion: To kick off an entire shopping weekend devoted to raising funds and awareness for women’s cancers, the Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Highland Park Hospital joined Saks Fifth Avenue for a reception featuring cocktails, food, and a sneak peek of the weekend’s offerings. The Details: More than 500 supporters attended the preview fête which was co-chaired by Jana Brok and Sarah Adess, both of Highland Park, while Sheridan Road served as the media sponsor.The End Result: More than $25,000 was raised during the evening to further support Kellogg Cancer Center at NorthShore Highland Park Hos-pital, as well as a percentage of each sale made throughout the weekend. northshore.org/auxiliary
