25 May is World Communications Day. To celebrate the occasion, the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference Communications Office has created a digital storytelling project entitled ‘Stirring Hearts’. Each story is told using digital media and tell 12 digital stories on YouTube. Please visit www.stirringhearts.org.au

Friday Coffee Club is going to see the Miss Fisher Costume Exhibition, at Old Government House Parramatta, on Friday 23 May. We will be leaving from the Church at 9.00am. If you are interested in coming please call the parish office by Tuesday 20 May, as bookings are essential. Cost $35 includes entry and High Tea.

On 21st May, St Mary’s Cathedral will be hosting a performance of a 16th Century Venetian Coronation Mass, which will be sung by the choirs of St Mary’s and St James’ accompanied by Australian Baroque Brass. Sacrament of Confirmation—2014 If your child is in Year 6 or above, and you wish them to receive the sacrament of Confirmation this year, preparation sessions commence on Mon 26 May at 7.00pm in the Hall. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on Sunday 15 June at 12.00pm. If you would like an enrolment form please see Fr Gerry or call the Parish office on Tues, Wed or Thurs.
