Little Shop Of Horrors

Plot SummarySeymour Krelborn works and lives in a rundown flower shop on Skid Row. While his boss, Gravis Mushnick, struggles to keep the shop open.

He purchases an exotic plant from an oriental street vendor, naming the plant Audrey II, after the girl he loves.

Gradually Seymour learns to his horror that Audrey II craves blood and flesh, and Seymour must collect up humans as food to satisfy the plant's appetite.

In the end, Seymour must confront the plant to secure a future of happiness with Audrey and to save all of mankind.

Main Characters Seymour Krelborn - a nerdy florist who

loves "strange and interesting" plants. Seymour is the main character all of the versions of Little Shop of Horrors. He was the owner of Audrey II. Seymour has had a long time crush on Audrey, wanting to marry her ever since he was a child. But he could never voice his opinions due to his shyness and the fact that she had a boyfriend.

Main Characters Audrey - a sweet, quiet, ditsy and insecure co-

worker who is Seymour’s true love, but she is dating the sadistic dentist Orin Scrivello. She is the main female lead in each Little Shop of Horrors version. She has a crush on Seymour in both the musical and play, although it is originally stifled by her boyfriend.

The Set Little Shop of Horrors was filmed on

the Albert R. Broccoli 007 Stage at the Pinewood Studios in England, where a "downtown" set, complete with overhead train track, was constructed. They changed the ending in the film as the original ending gained negative feedback.

Film Ending Seymour shows up just in time and

rescues Audrey from near death. Audrey then watches Seymour battle Audrey II in the song Mean Green Mother from Outer Space. When Seymour wins by shocking the plant with electrical wires, Audrey and Seymour marry and live happily forever in her dream home.

Original Ending Seymour shows up but is too late to

save Audrey. She dies in his arms, after instructing him to feed her to Audrey II so that he may become famous and wealthy. After she is fed to the plant, Audrey II goes on to eat Seymour, produce multiple offspring, and eventually takes over the world.
