LITTLE KIDS ROCK - FAMOUS DRUMMER MAKES APPEARANCE AND DONATION

Timothy Reick has spent the last 15 years as the CEO of the HRC Group, which includes a number of subsidiary and affiliate companies. To give back to the community, Timothy Reick also contributes to charitable organizations such as Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit that trains public school teachers in music curriculum and provides musical instruments to students in low-income communities around the nation.

Little Kids Rock recently issued a press release announcing that Chad Smith, the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, made an appearance at Pio Pico Middle School in Los Angeles to play music with students in the school’s Little Kids Rock music program. During the January 2015 event , Smith also participated in a question and answer session with students, and delivered new instruments that will allow the school to engage more students in daily music instruction.

A longtime advocate of music education, Smith currently serves on the honorary board of directors for Little Kids Rock and regularly engages in awareness and fundraising efforts for music education. Smith has raised more than $55,000 since the middle of 2014 to support music education and various nonprofit organizations, including Little Kids Rock. The organization will use Smith’s donation to provide music opportunities and instruments to another 2,200 students across the United States.
