Act Requires students in grades K-3 not meeting state criteria for grade level reading to be placed on an APP (Academic Progress Plan).

The law states in the event a child scores unsatisfactory on the reading portion of the 3rd grade Oklahoma Core Curriculum Test (OCCT), he/she WILL BE RETAINED in third grade.
