    FOR THE ACTUALS:

Please remember to include pub and release number in the subject line for all

    internal communications.

Do not delay and dont let the release slip for days in PSS hand. Think of the

possibility if there will be slips.

Keep the schedule in-tact and if possible pull the pub to generate income.

Prioritize your releases, clean up jobs should be scheduled and should be

    done one at a time.

Keep constant communication with your US and PSS Editors regarding your

    Pub.

We have to wait until their time finish (8 am in manila time) to met with their

    obligations (JOF and MS).

    FOR THE EDSCHED:

Always add delay drivers in EdSched if milestone is already 1 day delay. Do not forget to key in actual milestone date. Always keep track of your

releases, milestone dates should be populated.

If there will be revision (delay or not), inform the CPO and US Editor.

    FOR COMMUNICATIONS WITH COUNTERPARTS:

Being proactive in communication means that we have to remind our

Counterparts if they missed entering the milestones.

We have to give them time in answering the emails (at least 2 days) andgently remind them again afterwards.

For general inquiries, you should give at least until end of day unless youve

noted its extremely urgent. There are guidelines for when specific tasks

should be completed by US LEs.

Inform US LE about updates with the pub especially if it there would be delay

or any changes in Pub or in EdSched.

Whether the pub is delayed or not, we still have to inform our counterparts.

Communicate to supplier and US Editors in an ethical manner.

Provide options to US LEs when emailing queries

    FOR PRMs

Dial-in early during PRMs to avoid any delays/technical difficulties

Record it religiously for documentation purposes.

If there are several to-dos for the US LE, it is good practice to send a

reminder summarizing the to-dos/deadlines following the PRM

    FOR LATE JOB ORDERS:

Send an email to the US LE following the template provided in our user guide

    FOR THE MANUSCRIPTS:

If it is a supp merge, checked it if it is already incorporated in the content@

    and not in stand alone.

Remember to read the new documentation before you ask (e.g., tiering, copy

editing user guide, cite checking, and etc.).

    FOR CLEAR TO VENDOR

Always perform a Final Eye QC after Final Composition. This is to eliminate

any potential errors that may occur during final composition (i.e. incorrectfolio, overprinting dirlines, etc.).

    FOR THE CHECKLISTS:

Stand on your ground if there will be any possible concerns but we have to

think that we have to satisfy what is also expected form us by our Business

    Unit.

    Use the latest/current QC checklist.

    FOR WEBSTAR:

Open webstars for issues/queries that we're unable to resolve so that wecould keep track of them.

    FOR THE PUBLICATION:

Always check the copyright year. Make sure that release line is in correct

year and format. Check the ISBNs. Release line in bound pubs should alwaysonly appear in copyright page.

Double check the pagination of pdfs during final composition.

If the job is early, outsource it before the actual date, so that if any issue will

occur we will still have time to fix the issue.

Inform your Buyer if your pub will clear early, on time or not.

Immediately perform ecomp QCs after supplier dispatch, since it will just take

    few minutes to finish.

See to it, that it is customer ready before dispatching it.
