build a personal learning network (PLN) Online: Twitter, email, blogs, Instagram,
LinkedIn (don’t forget about groups!) In person: Social events, library tours,
workshops, conferences and your neighbourhood libraries

ACTIVITY!
Introduce yourself to someone nearby and exchange email addresses or social media profiles(2-5 minutes)
RRead & Reflect Read as much as you can! Journals, articles, tweets and links, job
descriptions and LinkedIn profiles And of course, it doesn’t have to be
print – TED talks, interviews, videos & pictures
Reflect on what you have read and write it down – it will show you what you learn in your professional journey

At your table - Discuss something library or information related that you read or watched recently.(5 minutes)

presence? Pull together a consistent look
