A Little Uplift for a Positive Day

Why can’t everyone be more tea? We can’t promise a cup of green tea will change the world, but it’s a start…

Green tea is 99.5% water, as hydrating and refreshing as H20.

Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM tea used in each bag shows part of our commitment to sustainability and the planet.

Every bag starts with about 15 fresh tea leaves from the Camellia sinensis bush.

Each cup has 150 mg of flavonoids.

Naturally refreshing taste.

Top Ten Ways to Add Some Green to Your Day

10 INFUSE. Brew a bag of green tea in cooking water for 1-2 minutes first, then add your favorite grains to cook. Think oatmeal for your breakfast,

quinoa for your salad at lunch, or rice with your dinner.

9 REFUEL. Fix a green tea smoothie post workout. Mix 1 cup of chilled brewed green tea, ½ banana, ½ cup frozen blueberries, 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseed, 1

cup fresh spinach and ¼ cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt. Blend and enjoy.

8 PAIR. Complement your meal with a cold glass of iced green tea. A good rule of thumb, green tea pairs well with mild-tasting foods like seafood, chicken

and salads.

7 FLAVOR. Steep green tea in broth for soups for a complex flavor.

6 RUB. Mix green tea leaves into your spice rub for your next BBQ. Green tea leaves complement the flavor of grilled salmon, tofu and shrimp.

5 CHILL. Make a pitcher of iced green tea with a twist. Throw in zesty ginger slices, fragrant mint leaves, and fresh lemon juice for a kick of flavor.

4 WARM. Hydrate and warm up with green tea before working out. Relish a cup of hot green tea before your gym session to help keep you hydrated (and

motivated).

3 COOK. Mix together fresh ingredients to make a simple green tea Asian stir-fry. Combine ½ cup brewed green tea with 2 Tbsp. each of honey and

reduced sodium soy sauce; set aside. Cook sliced chicken breasts and fresh veggies in a skillet. Add green tea mixture to skillet; cook until veggies are tender and chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serve over hot rice.

2 DRESS. Toss mixed greens with a green tea vinaigrette. Combine green tea leaves, rice

vinegar, and sesame oil for an Asian-inspired flavor.

1 SAVOR. Iced or hot. Add a little uplift to your day by adding green tea to your daily routine.
