Charles L. Stricklan, Lions Gate Companies’ president and creative director, is a graduate of Washington University, St. Louis, MO

with a degree in marketing and communications from the School of Fine Arts, focused on visual communications & marketing with a minor in

business and psychology. Over the firm’s nearly 40 years in Arizona, Charlie has maintained a strong position in the marketing & advertising

community.

Since relocating to Scottsdale Arizona in the mid ‘70’s, Charlie has become recognized as one of the leading experts in the successful

marketing of elite companies and their products including financial, commercial development, residential development, golf, golf residential,

hospitality, food & beverage operations, financial institutions and more. Over the years, Charlie has been asked to speak as a guest lecturer

at several of the country’s finest universities and has received numerous awards for creative design, direct mail, advertising and marketing from

organizations such as: The American Marketing Association, The National Home Builders Association (Charlie was honored with the first

award the NHBA Sale and Marketing Council ever gave to an advertising agency), The Central Arizona Home Builders Association, The

Southern Arizona Home Builders Association, and others. He served as a judge for numerous marketing award programs throughout the United

States. He also produces and hosts his own radio show The Celebrity Golf Club Show that he started in the late 1980’s. He has served

on numerous charitable boards including The March of Dimes, SACA (Scottsdale Arts Center Association), The Central Arizona Home-

builder’s Associations, The Arizona Multi-Family Association, The Scottsdale Boys and Girls Clubs, The Public Relations Chair for The Rotary

Club of Scottsdale and Rotary District 5510, and others.

Charlie, and his wife Lotis, have 5 children and live in Scottsdale, AZ. With golf as his leisure time passion, Charlie has won

numerous golf tournaments including the 1998 Amateur Mercedes Championships.
