1. Go to the Contacts tab in your LinkedIn account, then make sure your viewing the Connections tab as well

4. As you narrow in on your tags, you may want to add additional tags to individuals. You aren’t limited to one tag person. Additional tags come in handy as you begin label your buyer personas, influences, approvers and such

5. An additional benefit to tagging is enables you to target messages to specific groups within your own network. This can be helpful if the tags in your network are different than the categories in your companies CRM system

1 Go to LinkedIn Maps at . http://inmaps.linkedinlabs.com/. Login to your LinkedIn account when prompted

2 Grant InMaps access to your LinkedIn account. Within minutes InMaps will create a custom color map of your LI network

3 Hover over the various colors in your map. These colors represent individual connections in a group. You decide how they know each other and what the common connection is between them

4. InMaps provides a legend in the lower left hand corner. Here you label the groups according to your preference and interpretation

5. When you click on an individual dot/connection in your map, InMaps shows the connections for that person and similar connections in your network
