Aundrell Hines, Kassi Miller, and Curt Wells, DECA

team members in entrepreneurship with a busi-

ness plan to instruct golfers, baseball players, and

softball players, competed in Dallas at State in

February. Billie Ruth Hankins is their sponsor.

On the last Saturday of

February, Max Belford

finished his basketball

season. He was quite

the score maker!

February food pantry volunteers Karoyn Stilwell,

Nancy Belford, Sue Hill, Muriel LeGrow, and Kay

Stephens packed groceries on Tuesday and

with help from Pastor James McMillan served

clients on Wednesday.

Dr. James Cowley brought the message on Boy

Scouts Sunday in February. In addition to being

the Superintendent of Linden-Kildare CISD, he is a

certified lay minister in the United Methodist

Church.

Judy Lanier brought the message on the 3rd

Sunday of February. She is currently serving

her internship at Linden United Methodist

Church.

During the worship service on

March 2, Kristen Clayton and

“Miss Paula” played a beautiful

piano duet arraignment of “Softly

and Tenderly”. Moments later,

Kristen sang an inspiring rendition

of “My God Is Real” for the

anthem as Miss Paula played the

accompaniment for her. How

versatile and energetic are these

two lovely ladies!

Among the February 3rd Sunday potluck lunch

crowd were Sue Snowden, Marilyn Barrett, Marie

Knight, Charlie Reece Harris, and Cissi Lanier. As

one can see, they were very patient in line for the

bountiful tables of delicious food!

Still patient are Marilyn Barrett,

Betty DeLoach, Al DeLoach, Charlie

Reece Harris, Marie Knight, and

James Knight!

Pictured above are Melissa Lanier, Glenn Lanier,

McGinnis, John Witherington, and Eldie Smith.

packages for mailing to our college

students.
