This book was made for you to experience our Lind family, our use of natural materials and our local production in Denmark, using nothing but inspiration and Danish

THE LIND FAMILYDNA is something truly unique. Something innate, essential and natural. Like the LIND DNA design collections.

The sisters Bine and Mie Lind are dedicated to perfection and hands on. You can follow the two sisters every step from design and production to quality control, distribution and marketing. The sisters stand behind every single design.

The close ties between the two sisters and their father, Preben Lind, give life to their inspiration, their goals and their ideas. This is why the Lind family in 2013 in the most natural way grew into LIND DNA.

DANISH SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Scrap leather is collected from shoe, handbag and furniture production. The leather is grained and mixed with natural rubber and water, resulting in a uniquely durable and aesthetic material

consisting of 80% reused leather and 20% natural rubber.

Natural wool in natural colours are an essential part of many LIND DNA designs. The wool is non-dyed and carefully processed which allows it to keep its rough and natural look.

Traditional craftsmanship and gentle processing allow the Danish oak to keep its raw and natural character in the final design. Oak symbolises the durability in all our products. Product

durability is a quality that we strive to achieve in every design.

How do you protect the environment and make your home even more beautiful? By going sustainable.

LIND DNA turn scrap leather from the furniture and fashion industries into exclusive lifestyle and interior designs. With respect for nature and Danish design traditions.

The plotter cuts the leather with great precision, keeping leather waste to an absolute minimum.

The resulting leather pieces are then extracted and move on to quality control and further processing.

The well known TABLE MAT is devised in an organic shape named “Curve”. It has become a recognized design icon when it comes

to table wear. The design is decorative and practical as it takes up very little space on the table. TABLE MAT is made from recycled leather and is easy to clean with a wet cloth and window spray.

CURVE CANDLE HOLDER is a personal, handcrafted design made from oak coated with recycled leather. The hidden magnets make it possible to place the candle holders

in numerous different ways according to style and taste. Two, three or four CURVE CANDLE HOLDERS can be combined into one candle decoration.

The individual parts of CURVE CANDLE HOLDER can be separated but were meant to glow together. The sisters Bine and Mie Lind work with Terre Des Hommes to allow

siblings in Arusha, Tanzania, to grow up together. 5 EUR of each sold pair go directly to the families in Tanzania.
