We all miss her around school and wish her well for the future. We have taken the opportunity to reorganise our teacher aide 4metables so that each of our four teaching teams has teacher aide support for morning programmes, Monday to Thursday. As a result, we are very excited to introduce our newly appointed teacher aide Kerri-Lee West, who started this week. Kerri-Lee lives on a dairy farm near Winton with partner Josiah and her two children Declan and Anahera. Her hobbies include photography, basketball and camping. She has teacher aiding experience and has already made a really posi4ve impression on staff and kids. Welcome Kerri-Lee! Lisa Sullivan will also be joining us later in the term as a teacher aide. Lisa has had a long connec4on to Limehills School through her children Keely, Tegan and Liam and as a former BoT member. She also has teacher aiding experience and lives on a dairy farm near Winton with husband Paul. Welcome Lisa! Finally good luck to our awesome inventors who are heading off to the Waimumu Field Days today to be judged in the Farm Inven4ons Compe44on. Alerts!!!!! Working bee this Friday, 16th February to clear the hedge trimmings. If you can lend an hour and/or a trailer to our SVA kids between 10.30am and lunch that would be awesome! Many hands make light work. Thanks. Triathlon - Monday 19 February. Please see note over page for details. Please ensure that students come to school prepared to train for the Triathlon with togs, running shoes and appropriate clothing and con4nue training at home. American hot dogs are now available every Thursday for lunch. $2.00. This is a fund raiser for our outdoor educa4on 'pot'. No need to order, just turn up on the day with your money. Please send kids along to school with correct change if possible. Thanks. All the Year 8 students should have received an HPV form. Please return to the office as soon as possible. Hats - Be sun smart! Please make sure all students have a hat that they bring everyday or leave at school and have sun screen available. Also ensure the clothes they wear are suited to the hot days we are happily experiencing this summer, e.g. keeping shoulders covered. Bus no4ces - All bus arrangements from Term 4 have been cleared. This means that all children will go on the allocated bus unless advised otherwise. Please advise the school office of any changes by 2.30pm. Thanks. School app - Please subscribe to the school app (Limehills School) through your App Store. It’s a great way to stay connected with school ac4vi4es and no4ces. Please ensure that you resubscribe to your child’s class and the ac4vi4es/sports that they are involved in by clicking on the 3 bars found at the top leb of the home screen, the Alert Subscrip4ons. If you have any problems gecng the app or subscribing please let us know. Field Days - To minimise classroom disrup4on, please could those students adending the Field Days go on Thursday if possible. Don’t forget to mark the Parent Consulta4on/Disco on your calendars, 21 Feb, 6.30 - 8.00pm in the school hall. The touch team lists will be sent out as a no4ce on the school app tomorrow and hardcopies can be collected from the office. First game is this Friday, 16th February at Moores Reserve, Winton. We will endeavour to put the draw on the app every week, but please go to the Touch Southland website, www.touchsouthland.co.nz and click Central Primary on the correct date, and it will show you the draw.

Welcome to Kerri-Lee

“What a great school, I’m going to love it here!”

Bikewise Thanks to Bruce and Danielle for a fantastic Bikewise programme this week. The kids learnt lots of new skills and gained confidence on their bikes. It was fantastic to see the junior students concentrating so hard and a

few kids even managed to ditch their training wheels. Well done, what an achievement!

Co-Op This year CO-OP is back on and we want people to bring in their treats to sell to all the kids in Limehills School. If you would like to bring something, homemade or home grown food, please bring it to Room 5 on Friday morning so we can sell it for you. If you are planning on bringing in food or other items to sell, please email jordann@limehil ls.school.nz by Wednesday morning and we can then advertise this in the school newsletter.

Thank YouThe CO-OP TeamJordan, Josh, Danny, Ella
