Introducing the compact, light and manoeuvrable beet harvester: the LightTraxx. Efficient, Economic, Ergonomic and Ecologic sugar beet harvesting.

Compact, light and manoeuvrable

The intuitive EcoTronicPlus operating system offers cutting edge ergonomics to the operator, economic engine management and all functions at a glance: key parameters are shown on the clear 12” (30,5 cm) touchscreen and can easily be adjusted at any time, increasing the overall efficiency of the harvester. Commonly used harvesting functions can be controlled with the joystick. The speeds of the various machine functions and the driving speed can be set independent from the engine speed. High efficiency at a low engine speed means optimal fuel efficiency.

The LightTraxx can be equipped with an integral defoliator or a defoliator with side leaf spreader. The LightTraxx has the newly developed ProtectPlus scalping system which ensures the best results of the beet crop. The LightTraxx is ready to lift sugar beet in all conditions with the ExcenterPlus system. The cab gives an optimal view in all directions and a pleasant and comfortable working environment.

Optimal weight distribution

The LightTraxx chassis creates a stable and powerful machine with an open and easy accessible construction. The well-designed and clever geometry of the four wheels ensures an optimal distribution of the machine weight. The optimal weight distribution results in minimal soil compaction and ensures an efficient harvest even under difficult and wet conditions. Due to the optimal positioning of the wheels, the field is totally equal after harvesting. The LightTraxx is an agile machine with low fuel consumption that is ideal for small fields which require a lot of turning on limited space.

With AutoSteerPlus, both axles are fully automatically controlled in all conditions. The beet rows are therefore perfectly followed. That leads to a perfectly harvested crop.

AutoSteerPlus, the automatic control system, is fitted in front of the defoliator. The control probes and sensors on the beet harvester control the machine. The front wheels are controlled by the lifting shares and the back wheels by the feelers in front of the defoliator. Thanks

to the automatic steering system the operator can concentrate fully on the lifting, cleaning and unloading process.

Integral defoliatorIdeal if you want to spread organic material to the maximum (Mulch). This way weeds don’t get a chance to develop, it improves the soil structure (food, air and moisture penetrate better into the soil) and it can protect against cold and heat and prevents dehydration. The depth wheels press the organic material into the soil to prevent disturbance..

A correctly adjusted defoliator is the first step towards a perfect topping and harvesting performance. There is a choice between an integral or combi defoliator. The depth wheels between the rows ensure that the defoliator always works at the correct height. The defoliator is equipped with steel flails for a longer lifetime.

Combi defoliatorThe ideal solution for fields with large amounts of leaves and weeds. The combi defoliator also comes in handy on slopes. The combi defoliator transports the leaves with an auger to the left-hand side of the machine. The leaf spreading disc then spreads the leaves across the field.

ProtectPlus protects the Sugar Beet With the new scalping system more beet is harvested and the beets are better protected against losses of energy and sugar. This all creates a higher yield.

Thanks to the defoliator, all the sugar beets stay green. The ProtectPlus parallel head system ensures that every beet is cut to the correct height. Larger beets require more topping than smaller beets, which is why the defoliator is set higher, which creates more space between the scalper and the control comb. This means

that the highest beets are not hit by the defoliator and that the scalpers leave a perfectly chopped beet behind. When a beet is perfectly topped, it is better protected against sugar loss, because the energy from the beet does not go to the damaged part during storage.

ExcenterPlus: optimal beet liftingBased on the proven concept of independent eccentric moving lifting shares, the ExcenterPlus lifting system is developed to lift the beets in an optimal way at high working speeds and for superior capacity, even under extreme conditions

The ExcenterPlus lifting shares are controlled by a depth control system in combination with the rotary intake. The depth control is controlled by wheels that enable clean and complete lifting of the beet at high driving speeds. The rotary intake feeds the lifting turbines with a continuous flow of beet.

EcoTronicPlus: All relevant information at a glanceThe operator can access all information on the EcoTronicPlus touch screen with the buttons on the left and right hand side of the screen. These buttons are also used to set and adjust all basic settings, including Read out, Adjustments and User settings.

Clear information while driving on the roadAs soon as the operator shifts to the road/transport mode, the corresponding display appears automatically. The screen shows the operator a clear and extensive overview of all the relevant information. During transport it shows, amongst other things: driving speed, engine speed, oil and engine temperature, fuel level and the actual date and time.

Unrivalled cleaning and output

Thanks to the long cleaning path, the LightTraxx can handle any soil type. The lifting turbines are 1500 mm and the cleaning turbines are no less than 1550 mm. This ensures capacity and excellent cleaning. Depending on the soil type, a pitch of 83, 93 or 108 mm can be chosen. Thanks to the large number of pig tails and bar gates (a distance of 55 or 75 mm), the driver can adapt his harvester to every situation and every soil type. The 1000 mm wide elevator to the bunker also contributes to good cleaning and high capacity.

Larger footprint for a better ground protection: The OptiTraxx is equipped with 760 mm wide and 2250 mm long tracks. The tracks replace the front wheels of the LightTraxx and are fitted directly to the axles to keep the steering intact. The special frame makes sure that the pivoting point of the track remains as low as possible. This prevents the tracks from tilting caused by traction.

This guarantees an optimal weight distribution over the contract surface of the track with the soil. The large contact surface not only ensures optimal weight distribution, but also makes it possible to continue lifting beet in wet and difficult conditions.

YieldMasterPro

Optionally, the LightTraxx can be equipped with YieldMasterPro. YieldMasterPro accurately maps the yield differences within your plots. This way you get important information about the yield of your parcel. Information that you can use for your beet growing strategy and business operations. This way you build up more knowledge during every harvest. Knowledge that you can use to increase the yield of your beet harvest year after year.

YieldMasterPro can tell you which proceeds have been harvested from which place. We do this through a combination of different data: We weigh the yield, which is combined with the current driving speed, the transport speed and the GPS position. All measurements are displayed and stored on a display in the cabin. During the harvest, you therefore immediately gain insight into

the variation within the field. In addition, vehicle weights are tracked, field and day overviews are generated automatically, yield data from already harvested fields can be tracked back and the data can be transferred to the computer for further processing.
