The installation works at the Lifting Brackets must be carried out inaccordance with the procedures indicated in the legitimate specifications,the use and maintenance guide.

The operator who carries out the installation must have the specialknowledge on the subject. Determination of procedures which operatorsshall proceed, to give necessary information to these people and tosupervise whether these actions taken, are responsabilities of the user.

The Lifting Brackets are used in the execution of the procedures fortransportation and lifting/overturning of the tool.

For the safety reasons the weight of the tool should not exceed themaximum value of the load that the two lifting brackets can handle.

GSB OILLESS Lifting Brackets are tested with static coefficient ofminimum 1,5.

The Brackets manufactured by GSB OILESS are subjected toMAGNAFLUX test. The raw materials used in the Lifting Bracketsare analyzed as per the TS EN 10204.

They are in conformity with the BMW standard.

The raw materials, production operations, quality control plans usedin the production of the Lifting Brackets by GSB OILLESS are executedin accordance with the 2006/42/EC directives.

The maximum loading limits for the element used in thetransportation and Lifting operations as indicated in the tablesmust not be exceeded.It is very important to make the right selection of the transportationequipment in order to provide the right load balance whileutilizing the Lifting Brackets. While the transportation, lifting or reversal procedures of thetool, make sure that the protection ring is placed definitelylooking towards the direction of the tool. After placing the LiftingPins in the recess on the tool, pay attention that the safetyrings is far from the center and in an oblique position on thecenterline of the hole.

Do not make lifting/handling operations if the harnessangle is over than 90° and less than 50° to horizontalaxis!

LIFTINGIn case of Lifting, the Max. Load of the Brackets, should be double than the total

weight of the tool.2 Brackets must support the total weight of the tool.

Example : Tool weight 25000 kgThe load capacity of the each Brackets must be : 25000/2 = 12500 kg

OVERTURNINGIn case of overturning the Max. Load of the Brackets, should be double than the

total weight of the tool.2 Brackets must support the total weight of the tool.

The Lifting Bracket must be mounted on steel plate grademinimum St52.Is reccomended the use of barriers to prevent the wrong insertor slippage of the Lifting Pin.It’s mandatory the use of thread lock LOCTITE 243 or lockwasher.

5- Handling and Maintenance

A visual check must be carried out in order to determine once in sixmonths if there is any oxidation start or apparent abnormalities.In case of encountering any adverse situation the Lifting Brackets mustbe replaced with the new one.

The visual inspection and checks of the Lifting Brackets also mustdefinitely be included in the periodical maintenance regulations of thetool.

Due to excessive loading, unforeseen pressures of the ropes/chainson the Lifting Brackets, or the permanent deformations caused by animpact on the body of the Lifting Brackets, It is necessary change theLifting Brackets and the fixing screws.

As a precaution against such situations cylindrical roundness controlsmust be made specific intervals and in case of degeneration over 0.25mm, the Lifting Pins must be replaced with the new one.

Her 6 ayda bir görünür anormallikleri ve oksidasyon bafllang›c› olupolmad›¤› gözle kontrol edilmelidir. Herhangi olumsuz bir durumlakarfl›lafl›lmas› halinde Tafl›ma Mili yenisi ile de¤ifltirilmelidir.

Her 12 ayda bir olas› kal›c› deformasyonlara karfl›, Tafl›ma Millerininsilindirikli¤i kontrol edilmelidir.

Tafl›ma Millerinde afl›r› yüklemeden, halatlar›n/zincirlerin öngörülmeyenbask›lar›ndan dolay› silindiriklik kayb› ya da Tafl›ma Millerinin gövdesindekal›c› hasarlar meydana gelebilir.

Bu tür durumlara karfl› belirli aral›klarla silindiriklik kontrolü yap›lmal›ve 0,25 mm üzerinde bozulma varsa Tafl›ma Mili yenisi ile de¤ifltirilmelidir.
