Lifecore’s RENOVA, RESTORE® and STAGE-1™

implants feature the RBM surface. Lifecore’sRBM, a roughened titanium surface, hasbeen in clinical use since 1997 and hasachieved a high level of clinical acceptance.

Lifecore’s RBM (Resorbable Blast Media) substantially increases bone-to-implant contact and mechanical bone interlock, withapproximately 250% more surface roughness than a machined titanium surface. Safety and biological compatibilityare ensured through the exclusive use ofbiocompatible calcium phosphate ceramicmedia in the roughening process.

As a clinician, you can have confidence in the Lifecore implantyou choose knowing that Lifecore is an established leader in RBMsurface technology. Our three implant designs, coupled with ourRBM surface technology, maximize your opportunity for clinicalflexibility and optimal treatment outcomes.

Cement-On Crown (COC)Abutment System

Features:● Cement-on Crown (COC) Abutments are intended

for cement-retained restorations where conventional crown and bridge techniques are desired. The COC Abutment can be used for single or multi-unit (splinted) restorations.

● COC Abutments can be prepared as needed and impressioned directly using conventional crown and bridge techniques, eliminating the need for an impression post, analog and other prosthetic components. These abutments may also be used for provisional (temporary) restorations.

Technical Considerations:❍ A minimum inter-occlusal clearance of 4.0mm plus

the additional height of the restoration is required between the implant prosthetic table and the occlusal plane.

❍ It is recommended that bulk abutment reduction be performed outside of the mouth due to risk of heat transfer to the implant.

❍ COC Abutments are made of titanium and are not designed for direct casting to the abutment.

Instrumentation Required:❍ .048" Hex Driver

Angled Locking Cement-On Crown (COC) Abutments● For use in single or multi-unit (splinted) restorations where angle

correction is needed.● Pre-machined margins simplify abutment preparation and may be

additionally prepared to follow gingival contours.● COC Abutment may be impressioned directly using conventional crown

and bridge impression techniques. Alternately, a locking implant impression post can be used to impression the implant; allowing the laboratory to prepare the abutment and fabricate the restoration.

● Abutments include .048” hex titanium abutment screw. Additional screws are available separately.
