We b sfers Celebrate 25th Anniversa ry Twenty-five years ago on October 10, 1948, a couple was married. They are now known as Mr. and Mrs. William Webster , who reside at 23 Hillside Avenue , Blue Point. On October 28 , there was a surprise party at 4h£ VFW in honor of their 25th'Wedding - - an- niversary . The party lasted eigh t hours with Roger Sherman , a one man band , playing their an- niversary waltz. Each daughter , Karin and Debbie , danced with her lather to "Daddy 's Little Girl. " Lois ,, their daughter-in- law , danced with her husband' s father to "Mr . Wonderful. " After the girls danced with their fa ther , their mother danced with each of her sons , William and Robert , to "Boy oi Mine. Everything was as traditional at the anniversary party as it was the original wedding, 3 tier cake , throwing of the garter , etc. Each guest , approximately 30 , were all Bill' s and Eleanor 's best friends; also , one of their ushers had attended. Every person who attended brought a covered dish and an envelope with either silver dollars or greenbacks. As the party concluded , Karin , their oldest daughter , announced that all the money that was brought as a gift will be used to make their dream come true. All the Webster children along with all the guests are sending Eleanor and Bill Webster to Europe as a second honeymoon. COMMUNI TY THANKSGIVING Five area churches will par- ticipate in a Community Thanksgiving Service Wed- nesday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. at the Middle Island Presbyterian Church on Longwood Road in Middle Island. The five churches are : Holy Trinity Lutheran Church , Middle Island; St. Frances Cabrini R.C. Church, Coram ; St. Mark' s Lutheran Church , 'Ridge; Trinity United Methodist Church , Coram; and Yaphank Presbyterian Church. FALL FASHION SHOW The Suffolk County Legal Secretaries Association will hold their second annual fashion show on November 13 at 7 p.m. at Felice 's oi Patchogue. A MOMENT TOGETHER for Mr. and Mrs. Robert Albert Foell who were married Oct. 27 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Centereach. She is the former Miss Constance Ruth Milne. FOEL L-MILIME Miss Constance Ruth Milne , daughter of Mrs. Ruth Milne of 36 Jay Road , Centereach , became the bride of Robert Albert Foell , son of Robert Foell of 1 Marshall Drive , Selden , and the late Mrs. Foell , Oct. 27 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Centereach with the Rev. Charles Ertman officiating. Given in marriage by her uncle John Keith , the bride wore a gown of white taffeta with a nylon overskirt trimmed with seed pearls and crystal beads. A three- tier veil with one tier coming to the floor was held in place with a crown and she carried a bouquet of white sweetheart roses with baby 's breath , pompoms , lily of the valley and stephanotis. Mrs. Elizabeth Tuttle of Ohio was the maid—of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Barbara Cardno of Selden and Miss Mary Grace Herlihy of Centereach. Miss Robin Tuttle and Ricky Tuttle , both of Ohio , were flower girl and ring bearer. Best man was Richard Tuttle. Ushers were John Cardno of Selden and John Palermo of Selden. Following the ceremony a reception for 120 guests featuring the music of the Islanders was held at The 112 of Medford after which the coupl e left for a wedding trip to Bermuda. The groom , a graduate of Newfield High School , is manager of McDonald' s in Port Jefferson. The bride , a graduate of Earl L. Vandermulen High School in Port Jefferson , works for New York Telephone. The groom is an investigator for Korvettes and is a graduate of Sewanhaka High School. HOUSE - MARTIN Miss Elizabeth Jeanette Martin , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Martin of 27 Charles Street , Centereach , and James P. House , son of Mr. and Mrs . Ar- thur Simone of Plainview , were united in marriage Sunday af- ternoon in Holy Cross Lutheran Church , Lake Ronkonkoma , in a double-ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Carl C. Weaver , Jr., betore the altar decorated with bouquets of white and red flowers . The reserved pews had white satin bridal bows and lily of the valley. Richard Benson played the traditional wedding marches on the organ. Escorted to the altar on the arm of her fa ther , the bride wore a gown of white satin with an A- line skirt trimmed with daisy clusters at the hemline. The bodice was Empire with long sleeves and trimmed with daisy appliques. She had a floor-length veil of French illusion and carried a cascade bouquet of carnations with an orchid center.
