comprises of various categories, each relating to a different field of digital art.

Every year new categories of competition are added to provide a broader

perspective to fine art, and to improve the event in both size and quality. Hosting

more than 300 participants from colleges and universities every year makes this

one of the most anxiously awaited art competitions nationwide.

  • THE HISTORY OF MEDIAFESTS:

The legacy of Media Festival started back in 2008 with the aim of gathering young

energetic individuals to showcase their talent. Media Club GIKI thus left its first

mark on a national level by organizing its first mega event. Since 2008, Media club

has taken the event to new heights with the competitions improving and

increasing exponentially, every year. 5th All Pakistan Media Festival (2012) was a

huge success with over 200 students from 25 educational institutes across the

country, with Djuice as major sponser.MEDIAFEST13 was once again conducted

successfully in 2013 with our proud sponsor being Tutti Frutti. We were able to

have two back to back sensational concerts by Sanam Marvi and Ali Azmat.

    MEDIA FEST14

Doorway towards professionalism' this distinctive tagline is an equation that

adds up to excellence and perfection, telling a memorable story. Media Fest

'14, which was the 7th All-Pakistan Media Fest, had about participants

from over different schools and universities from all over Pakistan. In

addition to all the usual yet worthy opportunities that Media Fests provide,

the participants were also given a chance to get internships from many

esteemed photography and video making associated companies. With

Nadia Hassan Khan as the chief guest, Farhan Saeed as the lead

performer in the concert and Coca Cola and Acsson International as the

sponsors, Media Fest '14 was truly an unforgettable event. Other partners in

this event included Le Spectra, NUST Media Club, and City

  • After the success of past 7 events, GIKI Media club sustains the

    legacy of proudly presenting the

8th All Pakistan Media Festival 2015

This year, we have decided to do things differently. Every part of the Media Fest

will be new and improved. We want to encourage the participants to be

imaginative and inventive, risk takers and we encourage them to challenge

conventions. We want to motivate them to think originally and produce

something that no one has done before. We want to help them broaden their

horizons. Fusing individuality and innovation with art, photography and media, we

believe we can help them come up with something profoundly extraordinary.

Through the Outreach Program, we will present the winners with an opportunity

to develop and maintain a connection with a professional of their field of interest.

Last year, the participants had chance to work with Usman Mukhtar and Ahmed

Jalbani, among others. This year, we intend to invite brilliant and superior

photographers, graphic designers and other professionals from the world of

media to come and discover the tremendous amount of talent and potential here.
